Even your kitlens can freeze rain droplets. Just increase the ISO a little and increase the shutter speed.

3. Don't care much about built for landscape shoot, more interested in quality, both centre and side

What are your thoughts?

PS: No intention of getting Sony because it is just tammy rebadged

I'll take Siggy 10-20mm f4-5.6 HSM anytime. Siggy = chiggy ma. tongue.gif

I would recommend Siggy 10-20mm f4-5.6 HSM due to the IQ. It's sharper and wider and longer compared to Tammy. smile.gif

I suspect he's shooting using Auto mode resulting the camera to adjust such a low aperture for him.

Which is why I suspect that the Auto / Program mode choose f11 for that kind of lighting. He's using ISO 800 and with such a low shutter speed I believe the camera judged that the best optimized aperture for that kind of lighting is f11.
