I am itching for an UWA... mainly for landscape, not for portraits
should I get tammy 11-18mm or siggy 10-20mm HSM?
price different between the two is RM400 apart where tammy is cheaper
Thoughts of the RM400 difference
1. Would extra 1mm wide and 2mm tele make much of a difference
2. Shooting landscape don't really need HSM, don't see the point. Of course I think the reason siggy put HSM is because so that there won't be gear stripping issues in alphas
3. Don't care much about built for landscape shoot, more interested in quality, both centre and side
What are your thoughts?
PS: No intention of getting Sony because it is just tammy rebadged
I'll take Siggy 10-20mm f4-5.6 HSM anytime. Siggy = chiggy ma.
I would recommend Siggy 10-20mm f4-5.6 HSM due to the IQ. It's sharper and wider and longer compared to Tammy.
