Newbie A200 owner here. After using my A200 for 8 months, I'm currently thinking of getting a zoom lense (up to around 250 or 300mm) for my A200, as I felt the SAL1870 kit lens focal range is not enough
After looking around, I am considering one of the 2 options below :-
i) Buy the SAL75300 to use as a 2nd lense
ii) Buy the SAL18250 to replace the SAL1870
Below are the things that I would like to find out more & listen to your opinion/advice to help me make a choice :-
1) Any pros/cons (in terms of picture quality/speed/functionality) between the zoom lenses mentioned above?
2) Are there any other manufacturer/lense model anyone can recommend? (with estimated price too, if possible) I'm not familiar with Tamron/Minolta lenses, so I dont know which one is compatible with my A200.
3) Or should I wait for one of the new Sony lenses announced with the new Alpha DSLRs?
I use my A200 for general photo-taking; such as landscapes/sceneries on my trips/outings, objects, portraits and the occasional group photo. So I guess an all-rounder lense is what I'm looking for. Cost is a factor, unfortunately
Oh yea, I'm currently at Singapore... so a suggested shop located in Singapore that I could drop in to take a look would be better.
But PJ or KL would be alright too, just that it'll have to wait till my quarter-yearly trip back home
Thanks for spending some of your time to read & answer my queries
