QUOTE(Soony @ May 26 2009, 10:03 AM) It's hard to sell of your kitlens.. Why not keep it and use it when you're shooting in humid area like the beach and so on.. Even if you sell it , it would cost less than RM 150.. thank you soony! thats exactly what i'm gonna be doing now... keep oni laa...

ier - hehe yeap yeap... anyways, i've always wanted to know more about ND filters... what i know about it is prolly the fact that its often used when using slower shutter speeds to avoid overexposing the subject... besides that, how else is it used and why is it important?
den0422 - you mean how to adjust slower shutter speeds?

ieR - yea i've come across this prob b4 where it's just to bright, stepping down aperture only increases dof which is not what's intended at times... i remember once in the jungle when i faced this problem i taped my shades on to the front of me lens... lucky kitlens 55mm dia only... my shades were those old skool type... it worked pretty much like the ND..... i really think it's gonna be useful to get an ND filter or an ND plus CPL, the one ur sayin... however, i'm savin up for UWA so i'm thinking of getting a bigger diameter wan... and use those (i dunno what are they called) step down rings? to fit on to my 55mm dia kitlens... ryzan - aight aight i have until june! text me when ur here bro my num's "oh wan sicks nain saven wan wan nain nain foh" <--- tiru from din or seng kiat i think lol! vandechrome - how did use the flash for the first 2 pics? not the flower one... psst... this "albnok" style replies are cool! albnok - besides killing reflections, what and how does CPL affect colors? i have this clip on shades for my glasses which according to my optician claims it's CPL and yea i see how it kills reflections,,. but i also notice those spectrum like tints on car windscreens when i clip on them CPL... i'm gonna google a lil to learn more...

guys, just a question where's the borderline that determines if a photo has been PPed too much and a photo which is still photog acceptable... just curious...
albnok - i think it'd be convenient to stack ND8 and ND2 to reduce by 4 stops... and when not needed to be so dark can simply use ND2 or ND8 accordingly... however if stacked, does any sign of vignetting occur?

ieR - i totally get ya man!...CPL, i noticed the clouds seems more "dramatic" when CPL is used... why does this happen? would the same happen if ND was used?
