Now I know that this lcd tv is only HD ready but it says in the specs that it has 1080p 24 input-ready feature, so is that mean I could still set my xbox 360 on 1080p or only up to 1080i? Whats the difference in graphics between setting it at 720p, 1080i and 1080p? Plus, has anyone use this lcd tv b4 with their xbox 360 and how is it in general (ie.performance wise with playing dvds and games - Pros and Cons)?

It doesn't matter what's your setting, you'd still get 1366 x 768 resolution at the end. Personally I would choose 720p setting, since that's the "native" for 360.

IC what u mean, so how about if i have a full HD lcd tv, there would still be no difference between the graphics that is set on 720p and 1080i/1080p?

i think the difference is minor to none...

i've tried a game on my HD-Ready Panasonic Viera and a Full HD of the same brand. Tried Gears of War 1 & 2. Personally, I don't see any difference.

But you should avoid using interlaced at all time. In other words, in terms of worst to best is

1080i --> 720p --> 1080p

If you have a FHD, then setting 720p/1080i would be upscaled to 1080p from the TV itself. If playing 1080p then it will be upscaled from the console since I haven't of any 1080p game for 360 so far, I could be wrong though. For gaming I would recommend progressive settings.

What if i setup my xbox 360 display to 1080p on a HD ready lcd tv? Will the graphics will look less clear because its only HD ready or it doesn't really matter as gundamalpha pointed out? The thing is I'm only getting the LG 32LG30RA delivered this Tuesday so i can't really experiment with it yet.

use 720p instead of 1080p if your tv is not full hd. i tried on my toshiba regza and the games look better on 720p than on 1080p.
