QUOTE(Duke Red @ May 18 2009, 11:45 PM) I am going to admit to being bitter when I saw I wish for them to feel what it's like not to win trophies all the time. I want for them to experience what it's like to play second fiddle, or third, or fourth for that matter. Well that isn't going to happen, not this time round anyway. Haha right on, bro. I could feel your pain. I'm glad I was in Singapore for the game and didn't know anybody there! The team's improving with every passing season, and I feel it's only a matter of time before we see #19. In fact, we'd have had a decent shot at the title had we not dropped points against teams like Stoke and the other "park-the-bus" teams. But still, credit where it's due, the Mancs have been unstoppable after the 4-1 defeat by Liverpool. This post has been edited by miketee: May 19 2009, 12:08 AM

Yup Kuyt has had a much improved season after struggling in the previous season. With him playing, we truly do play with an extra player, as his work rate is unrivalled.

Obefemi Martins is a good targetman, and will most likely leave Newcastle. Thoughts, anyone?

More biased reporting from the media. The Mancs have a debt more than twice ours, at over 600 million but no one's making a deal out of it.

Time and time again it has been proven that MU gets stronger after a star player leaves. Think Cantona, Nistelrooy, Stam etc... this recent transfer has increased their kitty by 80mil - that's 4x more than what we have; on top of what they already have to spend prior to the sale!
So I don't think this will affect them much, but it will be interesting to see where they go from here.
