I would say all the major brands has 100hz model.... 100hz seem to be the standard nowaday mah, no? I want 100hz as the reflesh rate of the screen is double then 50hz so the ghost image will be lesser.... correct me if I'm wrong...

I tot LCD supposed to watch HD, like BD or DVD and not TV programs watching unless it is on HD... That's why using LCD to watch TV program will not bring out the best of LCD/Plasma; on the other hand, CRT will be far better for TV watching then LCD/Plasma...

Most higher end model will have 100hz function..But 100hz is much worst for ASTRO viewing.. 100hz is noticeable perform better in HD contents especially Blu-ray which no compression likes downloaded HD video

You are wrong. Hz has nothing to do with "ghost image". This is LCD, not CRT. It is the response time that is important. And there hasn't been ghosting in LCD since years ago .

Between 50Hz and 100Hz LCD...no difference, just marketing gimmick. But Sony's 200Hz Motionflow does shows some difference, which can be either good or bad depending on the source.

50Hz and 100Hz does have different, at least for me, 100Hz will have a bit smoother moving image, but that's only noticeable when comparing side to side with a 50Hz and 100Hz, as for the 200Hz, it is a big different, but if the source is astro or normal TV channel, i would say it is shit, CRT is still better in astro and TV channel due to the resolution and aspect ratio taht is being broadcast, government should encourage citizen to change to LCD TV so they will broadcast HD channel vmad.gif

Z series is worth it. The best panel I've seen so far in Sony LCD.

How about panasonic plasma, it wrote there 600hz. No idea what it meant though. Any idea if the hz rating for LCD and plasma is the same?

24frames = 24hz

our teebee progamm mostly in 30fps=30hz

then due to duno simi broadcast become 50hz or 60hz
