After I paid the deposit and filled in the form to switch from my current Prepaid to Postpaid, they told me I could probably get my Bold in 2 days time. In hindsight, I think they probably gave in because I refused to start my Postpaid and BIS package until I actually hold the Bold in my hands. So, lesson to learn, don't be a push over. They sure know how to squeeze every single penny out of the consumers. However, the day before when i called Maxis Customer Care, no one know about the package and i told them the website URL showing the Bold without contract, then only he/she said 'argh, i see' , even their own staff was not briefed/updated with new launching. |
