Hi there,
Im in a dilemma here...

Is courier despetch boy trustable?
I have never purchased any items through this sending method before....

Well, Im about to purchase a plush toy from a seller in Lyn.
She tells me that I am to bank in the money to her and she will be sending the item by this postage method...
She told me that she has done it MANY MANY times before but she does not have any sales record in LYN.

So... Please advice. icon_question.gif

do u mean the seller post through the courier company's despatch boy instead of using the proper courier service provided by the company?

well...there are always risk of cos.
1) is TS providing FOC postage and that is why TS has chosen the more "economic" way?
2) if parcel went missing, courier company will not be held responsible by that time. will TS "guaranteed "delivery or promised to replace if the item does not reach you? if yes and for the sake of free postage, u can bet on yr luck
3) more so., she does not hv sales record at all.

care to provide the thread link?

Well, you can check back her thread, by going her profile and click "Find Member's Topic", see any feedback from buyers or not.

Sometimes, some people just lazy to post successful trades list, but it doesn't mean she's not a good seller smile.gif..

Or you could try to PM me her name so that I can do a little research on her.

1)TS powzhaai has approached you through "pmed" which i suppose = spamming (violate lyn's rule). TS shall start a sales thread to sell.
2) yes, they have done it many times and they could assure customer that they never fail (they might be telling the truth as it is the same way of transporting the item. the only diffrent is the way of handling is against the rule of courier company - again, violation of rule)
3) if i'm not mistaken, selling paypal fund is not allowed in lyn?

1st thing 1st, if you are willing to conduct the transaction in this method (which you yourself have worries into), then pls be prepared to face whatever consequences that may comes. if the parcel dont reach you, pls do not post for complaint as it takes 2 to claps. Do not put the blame on others later when you hv the right to choose now.

when u are willing to transact with someone who are capable in using this mode of courier, then do not expect 100% responsibilty. this is simply an individual's morale.

* my evaluation are based on the facts provided above.

Thats the reason I am in a dilemma and I kinda need the plushie right now... Helping my friend to buy it... sweat.gif
But now there is 2 person messaging regarding the purchase... rclxub.gif

One is powzhaai who asked for my email address and the one who emailed me is Emily. which is suspect is velvetdesign posting in powzhaai's thread.. both are selling different items.. Since the item that I am about to purchase needs to be ordered from supplier.. it is not available in any of their threads..

If its from POSLAJU or any other famous shipment company such as Gedex , you'll get a tracking number which you can track the progress of your shipment

Your question wasn't clear at all. I made the assumption that you don't trust the delivery boy from a courier company. In this case he's a dispatch boy , and hes not from a courier company (since you have said no tracking numbers would be given). Its like this , I have a business and I ask my brother to deliver out the items for me , he becomes my dispatch boy

I do hope that is what you mean
