QUOTE(arremie @ May 15 2009, 03:54 PM) Amps do need to run-in to perform its best. You'll be surprise some new amps need to run for weeks or months before it settles in! What is 24 hrs to audiophiles? Just to warm up the amp!Added on May 15, 2009, 9:16 pm QUOTE(leeshock @ May 15 2009, 04:38 PM) It depends on who you are asking, To a serious audiophile with systems running into tens or hundred of thousand $$$, what is a couple hundred $$$ of electricity a month to enjoy great sound! This post has been edited by cd930: May 15 2009, 09:16 PM |

Do you do that too? if yours is a new systems then yes, those components inside need to run in and slowly it'll sound better and better, there are discs in market that help you to do so in a shorter period of time, just on it for couple of hours everyday and you will hear the difference, but make sure you won b there when you play the disc as the disc is using different freq to speed up the run in process |
