I went to :

3 kopitiams (all in Jalan Bandar Timah)

- Ipoh high court

- Ipoh session court

- Ipoh convent school

- Royal Ipoh Club

- Ipoh Town Hall

- Ipoh post office (old)

- Ipoh post office (new)

- Birch memorial

- War memorial

- HSBC colonial style building

- Ipoh Parade

Yeah, long, but 2hr 29 mins is faster than bus which takes about 3 hours or so...

I expect next year, maybe to Ipoh will be under 2 hours due to speedup to 140 km/h

I doubt the fare will be the same as now...

I was made to be understood that, even if electric train operates KL-Ipoh sector, it will be more expensive than the current one

The current one, costs as low as RM 10....it is cheaper than express bus ticket

They pointed out that, in future, KTM will offer two kind of service, to suit different customers...

- Electric train
- Diesel locomotive + coach
