And overclocked it quite far.
After a few weeks,i found that there r alot of DUST trapped inside my casing. And caused my proc n Gc cant exhaust the heat perfectly.
i hate to clean it monthly(not an easy job>.<)

So i would like to ask,how did u guys deal with the DUST problem?
Any product u guys can recommend for me?like fan dust filter, dust cover....
i wouldnt mind to mod my casing smile.gif
Juz hoping to extend my casing dust free period tongue.gif

Thx in advance for all sifus help notworthy.gif

ya i know,CM690 look alot better if cover less
but if putting on a cute sweat.gif cover can save my work,i wouldnt mind the appearance too much,i more into the pc performance tongue.gif

and the cute cover i showed juz now, i think it can still let air flow in and out(means not solid, still got many tiny holes on it smile.gif )

my usb vacuum can clear 80% of dust inside my cpu...
but the real problem is the gap between the Fin shaped CPU heatsink, always fulled of dust cake, and hard to clear doh.gif

You can try buying those air pump people use to clean their camera lens. But I don't know if it can generate enough pressure/force to blow out dust deep inside the fins.

Best opinion is to get compress air cans. You can buy them from ACE hardware stores.

Yeah..Water Cooling certainly will greatly reduce the dust in ur casing.
By the way, you can always use dust cover but there is no way 100% to avoid dust if you are using air cooling

ya,but i used to do my practical training in a computer shop...
but u know wat?before we start working inside the casing,we will simply use the 240V big ass vacuum to clean it up 1st...all of it(proc,gpu,ram...)
and so far nothing really ROSAK la,i think they can withstand a certain level of static charge la tongue.gif

juz dun touch ur rig, right after u get off from ur motorbike smile.gif

electronic wouldnt die in water...
only electronic with current/electricity will short circuit in water.

make sure no electric source ever when dipping in water. (battery rams all need to goes)
and make sure it dries totaly before plugh it in.

sames goes with mobile phone... but make sure get the two battery out 1st....

well as above mention... do it at ur own risk...
why need to risk it by dipping it into watter and void all the warrenty?
