epf was a net seller of 5m or so of knm, and of many banks also last week. epf is moving in tandem with global sentiments. which is wise. their investment strategies are constructive, supportive and in favour of pillars of msian economy. epf made some decent gains for its buying since sept 08 for many shares.

i did not check but needless to say we have many institutions there pandering to supporting local champions. THey are kazanah, amanah etc who kind of act like second last resort of saviours for GLC, and companies in strategic industries.

I still cannot forget the memory of this lady in Maybank asking me to invest in their fund. i can only choose a fund with 4% return as opposed to 10% for another group, for which i was and am not qualified. I was quite sad that this is happening in front of my eyes though i knew it all along. anyway, i never bought any trust or fund in my whole life.
