hey guys, got a couple of questions here.
1) When I play Wii on my 16:9 LCD, and set the Wii screen size to the same, there are still 2 thin black bars on the side. recently played Dead rising and secret files tunguska. both got this issue. I tried adjusting my tv settings, cannot resolve. I wonder if some Wii games are not originally in 16:9?? maybe only 14:9?
2) If I already have GC controller, do i still need the classic controller? I have no plans to download wii ware games.. but just wondering.
Games playing - just finished dead rising... but not yet finish the bonus games Next Game - Murasama

QUOTE(coduosp @ Sep 27 2009, 03:46 AM) i try question 2) whatever controller needed, its all depends on game itself. u can refer at the back of cd cover. Usually, almost, but not all game, when it support classic controller, it support GC controller as well. Thanks man, that saves me some money..

QUOTE(TehWateva @ Sep 29 2009, 11:19 AM) 1) From what I've noticed, not all games are in 16:9. So black bars are there to prevent stretching perhaps. Didn't really find anything annoying with that though. Thanks~ me didn't find it annoying too.

I noticed that Wii games have 2 different type of casing. See pic.
Top one - there some small holes/gaps in the middle. Bottom one - no gap. I got 2 copies of Umbrella chronicles and 1 has the top casing, the other one has the bottom casing. Anyone know why the difference? This post has been edited by Dark NT: Oct 28 2009, 10:07 PM

QUOTE(gundamalpha @ Oct 28 2009, 10:07 PM) The holes are there for locking device, which is a pretty uncommon sight here Come to think of it, its to lock the case so probably kids can't open it to play?... make sense to me.
