if i buy a wii from PAL region (UK to be specific), what will the region lock affect to my wii?

Guys, i have a question. If I purchase a wii in the UK, can i get a wii fit balance board here in malaysia? Because the wii fit is so much cheaper here in uk.. And i'm gonna concentrate on the wii fit games. So i was thinking to get wii fit balance board in malaysia instead of getting here in uk. And controller from malaysia works with UK wii?

saw this deal in tesco uk.. 119GBP with wii sports + sport resorts +wii fit plus(software onli) and 99GBP without wii fit plus.
