Guys, i have a question. If I purchase a wii in the UK, can i get a wii fit balance board here in malaysia? Because the wii fit is so much cheaper here in uk.. And i'm gonna concentrate on the wii fit games. So i was thinking to get wii fit balance board in malaysia instead of getting here in uk. And controller from malaysia works with UK wii?

Accessories are region free. And if u intend on only focusing on Wii Fit, then its good for u. Go ahead.

hi guys. what is the latest firmware for wii? mine is 3.2 i think.
any disadvantages for the new firmware? if new game comes out, it is like psp? some new games only works with the newest firmware

plus, how do i know if i have PAL or NTSC wii? in malaysia i believe we use NTSC right?

latest is version 4.3 . the region will be indicated based on the character right after the version number. 'U' for US, 'J' for JP and 'E' for PAL regions

assuming it's original (non-modified) Wii console, yes ... some newer games require newer official updates before they can be played.

SD card you can try at Lowyat Plaza.

Wii Remote and Nunchunk Goes around Rm 150 to RM 180. A motion plus is around RM 65 to RM 80.

Wii Remote Plus is the latest one. That one is slightly pricier, but combines both the remote and the motion plus.

may i know the current price of wii in lowyat?
plan on getting it this july..

I don't remember any backwards compatibility with the WiiU. So not sure how to gauge that.

But you'll be missing on the fun. Unless ur able to wait. hehe.

Wii U will be compatible with Wii games and all current crop of accessories. they only dropped support for Gamecube compatibility.

that might also mean the region locking saga will continue !
