if u want proof u just have to ask those sellers why aren't they bringing in that many of a wii titles.

just for the sake of argument, u can use this forum as a sample population...how many of us here is actually talking about upcoming games / current game? n how many are actually different id? heck even in the kopitiam most of us are hyping over games from other platforms.

Remember back in the PS2 days? There are active threads for games on that platform...but u can't see the trend here in the Nintendo section, we got nothing to hype about regarding the games.

I am a member of other Msian forums too n even there the Wii scene is almost dead like this one.

simple sell what are in demand no demand why bother stocking? if the demand for ps3 games are more than wii games why bother stocking wii games that wont sell as much as ps3 games
on other forum WII thread back dated for almost a year w/o any new post that how dead WII scene are even here in nintendo kopitiam ppl exchanging PSN id instead of wii console code or friend code, i was like what the so WII scene is basically dead

hmmm, so the wii scene is dead in malaysia? i will walk into my fav shop and ask one of these days which is console games paling laris. so these shops are just selling wii consoles but not so much the games. interesting. people on wii mostly play wii sport and that's it? interesting again.

i am a member of a philipine forum too, and wii discussion are also quite dead. but it does not reflect the stores. but that is ph, not malaysia, so i am out of scope.

anyway, perhaps phoenixbite is right. nobody give a damn about wii except a few of us. i will ask around to conclude.

actually, i think modders in malaysia is not really that "much" in comparison to the states or singapore

however, pirated goods are an abundance here in comparison to those countries

for sg and u.s., if the people are modders, they will source the game from the net, download it and play...and if you read some of their comments, a pirated game cost them about 1 USD there, while in malaysia 8~10 ringgit

game shops aren't bringing in the wii titles are probably more concerned over piracy...and the fact that they know that many wii's in malaysia are korean modded wii, hence, not many ori goods are sellable...that's my opinion and it may be a part of the truth, don't you agree?

and besides, if you import the game from PA...there will be occasional discounts while if you opt to purchase a game from these game shops...it's always at the same price...so...why do you want to buy "that" game at "that" price?

i think that is pretty much it...coz there were enticed during the promo by wii sports after all after that? perhaps wii sports resort.

after the first month of the hype...most ppl grew tired of it already n thinking about getting either 360/PS3, and the short of supply for new gen gaming on the Wii just can't pull people here in the long run. Unless u can afford multiplatform, u can afford to wait for new wii exclusive titles to come n keep ur wii during that waiting time. As for others..they just sell it back.

As for other games, not that much...I mean, really...although some ppl say that gameplay is important aside from graphics but who are we kidding?

if a title came out multiplatform...each for 360, PS3 n Wii...which will ppl go for? (e.g: Ghostbusters, Starwars: Force Unleashed).

Perhaps we should also tell ppl, a modded wii CAN PLAY a legit disc. Not many ppl know that actually..they are afraid

Hi, I'm a new Wii owner Less than a week old.

Decided to use my hard-earned cash to get US unmodded, so can play US ori games. Reading the last few comments here it seems Wii state is kinda depressing, no?

well, this year, there's mario galaxy 2, zelda wii and metroid: other M coming to the wii

the wii state isn't depressing, but it's slowly cooling down due to the market becoming more saturated with wiis...the console is still selling pretty well overall...just not as much/fast as last time

just bought an unmodded unit during CNY... been looking for new super mario bros. wii for weeks

try PlayAsia...or some other game shops like gamershideout / kyo's store...i think kyo will have it though...XD
