wah lao eh.... now only u all discuss about tyres and grip   
coz on saturday i drove up genting, it was sunny and dry... no problem (some more is uphill drive)
but on the downhill at 7pm, it rained, and my car skidded twice. Once was during a sharp and steep downhill corner, the rear just went off and my car went into slight oversteer. it was blardy unnerving because there were cars around me. Let go brake a bit, hit again... Lucky grip came back and didnt hit to the car on my right (was taking sharp left turn). Then, another time was another steep downhill slope, road was wet (raining ma) and due to fog, suddenly see speed bump at the end of that steep slope, stepped on brake and car lost traction again... slide all the over and over the bloody speedbump. grip came back after the bump *phew. After that 2 incidents, enough liao, the remaining of the downhill was done using 2nd gear    after the last police checkpoint, dry roads again, so here can speed up liao coz the corners are gentle and same for the slopes. But saw an over-turned trailer halfway (i think it lost control suring one of the turns) and reminded self not to get over-eager and take corners too fast  anyway, my stupid tyres are Continentals. When told my bro about it, he said he had bad experience in the wet with the same tyres on his Wira too. Both of us agreed that we will never use Continentals ever again (btw, same for SIME tyres, had it on an old Tiara, fair on dry, poor on wet)

he need 1 litre because his car still got 2k km to go... and not enough oil, tat y he need 1 litre to top up

my engine also "makan minyak hitam" need topup each week.
i wanted to try, but when read the description at the back of the bottle, it mentioned how it works - it will swell up the rubber seals and soften them so they will seal holes better.

so, will it work? i tot engine block and gasket are all metals?

u looking for a very specific type of engine oil is it? coz all petrol stations got sell mineral, semi-S, and fully synthetic engine oils de, except those really small gas stations la. myself also got 1 bottle of shell helix (mineral) in my car boot, just in case need topup on long trips. And yes, it's a 1L bottle i bought for rm14 (if remember correctly)

@cheeann, means those oil i can use ma? as long as its mineral 20w50 then can already right? ...
i try find petrol stations around my area see got or not, takda then if ur one is ok then i come find u liao ...
@masao .. since ur case worst than mine then u try 1st and let me know .. ... very hungry punya engine..
i plan to topup 1st, then calculate how much the engine consume. once got an estimation, if good then just continue topup, if bad then bring to mechanic to fix liao ...
