i also feel wanna change to semi-syn engine oil next, but i worried the engine will "makan minyak hitam" even more because semi-syn is thinner (easier to leak away into wrong places).

oh speaking of this, on sunday, i "sealed" back my drilled airbox, just for comparison's sake.
just butt-feeling, but on hot afternoons (eg lunch hour) the car feels smoother compared to drilled.
but at night or early morning (going work), drilled is definately better feeling.
i think due to hot air/cold air? hmm.gif will keep it this way maybe for 1-2 weeks more.
btw mike, if u wanna seal it back, just stick those heat-resistant tape lor.
but make sure is stick on outside of the airbox, not the inside! inside got risk... sweat.gif

add: guys, what is actual name for doing "mudgard" ah? u know wat i mean rite? patching of car body, sanding it smooth, etc.
one more question, where can buy this substance? coz i wanna DIY patch my skirting and lips, some parts chipped, not nice.
thought to patch before i respray (DIY also hehe) thanks

no need flush .. wat oil u using previously? ... mineral/semi-syn/fully-syn?
if ur engine condition is ok (no leak/white smoke) then 15w40 and 10w40 would be good, else just stick to 15w50 or 20w50 which is thicker so engine oil wont finish so fast...

mudguard ? makat shop lo .. hahaha ... i also dont know woh, wat i normally say is Body Workshop ...

talking about mud-guard, i mean the place behind the tire ... anywhere also can buy one ah? ..coz i realize its not a flap but a 'pocket' and collect quite some pebbles and stones .. haha

Added on June 16, 2009, 2:20 pm@cata, no choice la .. call me sit in front of the comp for 9 hrs really hard to tahan la ... faster finish training then go back college, cant wait for that fun life .. haha
