SPM result: 11 1A (core subjects + Phy, Bio, chem, Est, Add. Maths, PSV) GCEO: 1A Gerko CGPA (2 years): 9.425 Family income: 3000< x<4000, where x is my family income. Location: Kuching City, Sarawak. Course offered: Pharmacy Country: none (tiada) Status: non-bumi Interview: I think it was better than my English Oral tests because I could speak fluently without a single script. Guys, I wanna ask, since we accept the offer already, is there any chance JPA may change their minds and cancel the offer to us? You know, many people complain and so they may change their stand... haha... Well, please tell me that I'm thinking too much.

QUOTE(DarkBlazer91 @ May 16 2009, 04:24 PM) I got 10A1 and also talk alot during interview, but also get shitty IPTA, my koko is A also, parents income less than 2k. any explanations? My frens got full 12 A1 koko A with 9.7 CGPA also din get, interview not bad. You all get because of luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha... Well, be happy with what you have. Think of others who doesnt have any offer at all. Well, if you talk a lot during the interview, it is actually putting yourself into the disadvantages because the interviewers may think that you are dominating the discussion and not willing to listen to others during discussion, but of course I do not know how long of your speech time when you said it's "a lot". I strongly agree that THIS and ANY scholarship depends very much on your luck and your faith towards your religion. It's very subjective (the selection) because: 1. questions asked in interviews are different 2. different interviewer 3. different courses applied (critical courses like medic, denty, and pharm are harder) 4. the different quota This post has been edited by holycreeper: May 16 2009, 05:59 PM

Hmmm.... I don't think form 6 is a bad choice at all, if you are a person who can do self-studying, and hardworking. You still can apply for JPA after form 6 unless you really wanna go overseas now badly. I'm sure that if you can score 4 flat or at least 3A 1B, you can guarantee yourself at a public university.

Added on May 16, 2009, 5:59 pmBe happy with what you have? Are you joking? Listen, I don't know whether you are in love with our ipta, but we do want to get outside... [/quote] LOL... personally, I don't think IPTA in Malaysia is that bad. We have good uni's like USM, UM, UitM and UKM. To me, anywhere is the same, and I have actually decided to just continue form 6 if I do not get PILN and PIDN. Added on May 16, 2009, 6:12 pmQUOTE(lazyguy91 @ May 16 2009, 06:06 PM) that only applies to those with a good school.... I guess you're right. I do understand that some schools have negative perceptions of form 6. Do u get any offer from JPA? This post has been edited by holycreeper: May 16 2009, 06:12 PM

Ya, hopefully, but chances are low. Ell "good" or "bad", it's them to judge. Of course, competition is stiff this tyear, because more straight A1 students produced last year. Thanks so much for our "quality" of our education system.

If you wanna get PILN just to go overseas, I don't think you should complain anything. Check the meaning of "scholarship" in your dictionary. I guess that's the mentality of most people who apply for JPA.
