Previously i have such problem too. I found a way, just shut the phone OFF to charge it. The light will turn green when it's done. ON it back, the light will be red... let it charge for a lil while, it'll change back to green then.
The phone battery bar will show fully charged. Under information, it will also update the date on your last fully charged to the current date.

since hard reset is still reset to same rom. u hav backup program fles n windows folder too.

after hard reset, restore it n u will hav all ur application n settings intact.

after hard reset, the battery full charge within 3 hrs works!!! But, after I restore backup programs using Spb-backup, it comes back the same.. battery not fully charge again 

I've just upgraded to winmo 6.5 today.
Had to because with winmo 6.1 & old rom version i encountered several problems;
1- signal low, sometime calls can't get through or person at the other end can't hear me.
2- lagging problem.. quite slow to respons.
3- battery life; don't know which 1 is better. with wm6.1 i've to charge every 1-2 days with normal use of calls & wireless. I'll report back after using wm6.5 for some times.

4- sometimes after connecting to PC, auto sync etc, my favorite contacts were deleted. got to add them back again..

I have a few questions. hope that u guys can answer them.

1)how do i make the ringing lasts longer when someone calls me? i noticed that the ringing is so short that the calls always ended up as miscalls. do i need to do any registry hacks? pls advise me

2)how can i make the volume of the ring louder? i noticed that it sounds quite low
