try go to settings>connections>connections>advanced>select network. see if it helps when you select my work network instead of your data connection. i cant really remember, but i think that's how i solved the problem last time. i've checked my mail settings, i don't see any settings there regarding the connections. only got settings for the frequency of checking for new mails.

i think you're using a 3rd party rom, that's why the version number is different. if you wanna update it back to the stock rom just go to the htc site and download the latest one. touch flo should be installed by default on the stock rom, and also other 3rd party roms, unless you downloaded those lite version ones. so there's no need for step by step install on that i think

if you find a few pages back someone recommended a suitable 3rd party rom, not too sure what's the name though. i did not try with any 3rd part roms coz for the the stock one by htc was good enough already, just need some minor tweaks here and there

QUOTE(natalie sy @ Jun 9 2010, 11:18 AM) hey you better don't.. if i'm not wrong, i think you can actually flash back to the stock SPL and stock ROM before sending it to warranty, so it wont be void once you used the 3rd party ROM your device warranty will be VOID.... you can only use 3rd party ROM after your warranty is overed... There's a new build for the HTC messaging client, seems like it's better and not as buggy as the previous one. Even has a securebox to lock your private messages
might be giving it a try http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=700495 |

i gave the new messaging client a try yesterday, it's really much smoother and faster compared to the one that came with the rom. but i ran into some problems with it though..cant send out my messages, so decided to uninstall it and revert back to the old winmo one.

yeah, i reverted back to the default windows messaging already. funny thing is that it works for some people, might be it's depending on the ROM or maybe i made some mistakes while installing it. you can give it a try if you want, if it doesnt work for you then just uninstall it. remember to backup all your data first

Tried it also, but seems like no difference to me. Still using the windows default messaging though.

QUOTE(ben_ang @ Oct 29 2010, 02:10 PM) anyway 2 make the wifi always on even on standby? i've checked quite some info on the web, but the wifi seems to shut off after standby awhile, even with amended registry, it changed back automatically. i've seen a few programs on marketplace and xda developers to enable the wifi the stay on even on standby. you may wanna search for it and try.any working solution for this? still on Win6.5 stock 2.1 sense rom .. thanks! QUOTE(rehan657 @ Oct 29 2010, 11:12 PM) i think it's still worth pretty much as marcus said, 600-700. |

QUOTE(creative zn @ Feb 4 2011, 07:11 PM) guys.. hope this thread not dead yet. i just bought htc touch diamond 2 today. got 1 question. why my favorite contact display in grid? is it suppose to be in 3D flow like in picture tab? the 3d flow in the picture tab as you have mentioned is no more for the new version of sense UI, or windows 6.5. not sure which one, but it's only available in windows 6.1 if not mistaken, just like in touch diamond 1.help me pls.. |
