hi,

anyone had problems with their touch screen before?
Yesterday all of the sudden my touch screen stop responding. Even after soft reset and hard reset it still didnt respond.
However if I press the physical buttons Im able to navigate between the screens.

Im assuming that the touch screen itself is faulty. Can it be repaired or do I need to replace it? How much would it cost?

Btw I have been using the phone for more than a year. So its already out of warranty

yes. u r right. the digitizer has been faulty. most common problem on td2 which is caused by the newton ring effect. mayb urs is caz by something else.

u can buy it at ebay international cause rm60. change it urself but will destroy the look of it as lack of tools in changing. i changed my touch pro digitizer at shop. cost me rm320. but the digitizer is much better quality than those from ebay too.
sis charging the digitizer about rm600 excludin labour.

if you really want to take it to SIS to change the parts. i would recommend you to buy a new hp. at least problem will be null and void for at least for a year? you might try to ask SIS on that.

Hi guyz, recently I updated my rom version to 2.53.707.4... Before that I backup all my SMS and other stuffs using PPCPimBackupV2.8.. I had a folder called saved SMS in the previous version, so when I backup I saved all the massages in that folder too..

So after flashing I restore everything but when I got to massages through start and in the drop down menu I couldn't see the saved folder.. Previously we can juz go to all massages and view all the folders and even create a new folder but with the new rom I couldnt do so..

So is there any fix for it? Thanks in advance..

anyway 2 make the wifi always on even on standby? i've checked quite some info on the web, but the wifi seems to shut off after standby awhile, even with amended registry, it changed back automatically.

any working solution for this? still on Win6.5 stock 2.1 sense rom ..

I am afraid you cant get beyond 600rm

i've seen a few programs on marketplace and xda developers to enable the wifi the stay on even on standby. you may wanna search for it and try.

i think it's still worth pretty much as marcus said, 600-700.

For singapore set should be able to update as well since everything is in SEA HTC website. You can try again to key in, which part of the page having problem with? IMEI number?

hi. anyone knows how much odes it cost to fix d2 speaker?

i upgrade latest ROM..but i think the new ROM quite good in term of look..but a bit suck in messaging because no notify either message had sent..task manager also cannot be place at the top of fon like b4=(

Have to call up HTC/SiS to ask for it.. Maybe some phone shop do have spare for the speakers. RM 100-190 i guess.
