if i upgrade to this new ROM and i dun like it, is it possible to flash the ROM back to the previous version?

Yes...Definately can...I just flashedd back to my previous ROM....Couldnt stand the new layout of the new ROM.... FOr people who likes fancy outlooks its nice...

I find it a bit confusing....They mixed the menu around by putting certain programs in folders...

Actually you don't need to HardSPL your device unless you want to flash custom ROMs or Official ROMs from other region.

Btw, i changed the pagepool size of the new official ROM to 20MB and Sense 2.5 become much smoother.

I just flashed a custom ROM with no Manila. Really, really big difference in speed and memory usage. With some of Today plugins installed, I still have slightly more than 120mb free program memory.

I flashed to Official 6.5 thrn flash it back to 6.1.. lol.. dun really like the new 6.5.. too 'bunga'..

PagePool is like cache memory. Increase the pagepool will increase speed but less memory for running programs. After changing to 20MB, my free RAM for programs left 85.7MB.

Any1 using 16GB MicroSD with their phones now?

I got some questions to ask....I Downloaded this custom rom yesterday from XDA developer...

It contains 2 files.... 1 with the .nbh and 1 the exe file

When i try open the exe file...It has some error.....How can i flash this custom rom to my pda?

please help me....still quite new in this rom sectors

1) Download 2 files.
i. Hard SPL (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=520312) //filename: Topaz-HardSPL_V5_00R5_183HSPL.zip

ii. the Custom ROM that you have downloaded

2) Extract all zip files to folder.

3) Plug your phone into USB. make sure battery is more than 50%.

4) Double click on Topaz-HardSPL_V5_00R5_183HSPL.exe

5) Follow the steps provided. Make sure to flash in AUTOMATIC mode instead of Manual mode. *Process = less than 3 mins

6) Device will auto reboot. Enter your SIM pin code.

7) Now, install the Custom ROM

8) Follow the steps provided. *Process = 5 mins

9) Device will auto reboot. The rest....you should be able to figure out.

0) If you wish to use back Original Stock rom, go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=520312 and download TopazSPLRelocker_SPL133.zip. Process is same as Hard SPL *point 4 above

I'm using a Kingston 16GB Class 2.

ok.. i think the max is 32GB microsd right?

i seem to have a problem after flashing to the latest ROM. my GPS doesn't work anymore. It keeps saying "searching for satellite", whether i use Garmin XT or google maps. even after leaving it for more than 15 minutes, still can't lock onto the satellites.

anyone experience this? any solutions?

hmm... I don't have such problem with the new ROM. Maybe you can try use the QuickGPS to download satellite once.

regarding the pagepool changer, can only change to pagepool on the rom file before flashing it? then i have to reflash my phone?

i've used quickgps many times, still the same.

I flashed it to the latest ROM and used Garmin XT like normal. No problems with me. Maybe ur setting for data connection? not sure..

falsh to the latest rom, home screen top right corner task manager disappear, is this normal?

whats some major update for the new ROM?

yeah, it's an issue with this rom. there's a few programs to replace that, but i'm not sure what exactly are the names of the program..
