What will happen if I write a my address as self pickup at certain Pos Malaysia branch? assuming use online shopping - PosLaju

I email POS and they say "Alamat pejabat pos tidak dibenarkan."
*
Probably that's their official position.

I've seen somebody put a Pos Laju branch as their address and write down "Self-collect" remark on the package.
The parcel get sent directly to the EziBox locker.

Maybe it is allowed at Pos Laju branch and not the regular Pejabat Pos, because they work differently.

OR, maybe unofficially they allow it despite their official position. Try at your own risk!

Alternatively, you can use pgeon.delivery. They allow you to collect your parcel at nearby 99speedmart, mynews etc. for free.
I've tried it once, ok so far.

Wondering how do they make profits in this case,
Do we need to ask sender to specifically use Pgeon and they charge sender?
Or we can just shop at say Shopee and specify the address as certain 99speedmart with our name?
*
Probably once they achieve critical mass then only they'll start charging. Or they are hoping to boost footfall in their store. You know la once you are there, might as well get some eggs la, bread la, sugar la. It's a win-win.

You have to register with pgeon and book a slot at that 99speedmart. Then you will be given the address with your name and a certain code. Just copy and paste that address in any online store. So it will work with any online store and any courier that they used. When the package arrived, you will get an SMS with a certain code that you'll have to show to the cashier. So make sure you enter your mobile number correctly.
There are package size limitation though. Just be aware of that.

Hi, pos laju user here. Is it common for pos laju to give the wrong tracking status. Because when i check my tracking status this morning, it says item out for delivery on a Sunday, since 7 am.
*
Pos Laju outsources to private contractors nowadays. It is highly probable they deliver on Sunday.

Wow, u so lucky.

Mine still stuck at transit office & not even move at all since 14th May. Pos Malaysia don't even bother to reply my feedback since a week ago.
*
Don't despair. I sent a package from Putrajaya to Bintulu on 12th May. Items worth RM5k sweat.gif . Submitted e-feedback 2 times, no reply. Called PosLaju Bintulu a few times, nobody answered. It was finally delivered yesterday. I think there's still hope for your package.

my parcel using USPS still now din get it. so sad.
status : Your item departed a transfer airport in KUALA LUMPUR INT'L, MALAYSIA on October 22, 2020 at 3:44 pm. The item is currently in transit to the destination.

anyone has experience with USPS ? sad.gif

USPS is a state postal service like Pos Malaysia. Severe delay is expected. Avoid using them at least until our international borders are open. This is also the reason why Pos Malaysia pause their international service.

Use private courier companies like FedEx, DHL, UPS etc. for your international parcels. They have their own cargo airplanes. Of course you have to expect to pay more.

noted on that. so with that status is it reach Malaysia already or no?
*
I have no idea. Try check the tracking number with Pos Malaysia. If it is not in their system, most likely it is still in transit.

Am I the last person to know that Flexipak and related services have re-opened since 7 Oct? I just saw that news tonite. I was checking the site once a month all this time and finally gave up, so I didnt see it last month. There is a surcharge added at the post office at the time of shipping so if people want to begin using Flexipak its best to go to a pos office first and confirm the price as i will do tomorrow.
*

Did you find out how much is the surcharge?
From Pos Malaysia's website, looks like there's a steep price increase and no more Flexipack International L and XL boxes.
