Membership for what?

All couriers are door to door, just choose one including Pos Laju.

Or, I didnt understand your concern.

it's all about the way you package the item. imho all couriers are the same, you parcel will get thrown around. nobody got time to carefully pick you parcel.

the best way to send items is to use its original packaging.

Has anybody tried Aramex for international postage? Looks like they're the cheapest among all. I just need to send small items that can fit in a padded envelope.

In my somewhat limited knowledge, unfortunately the cheapest mail service provider will always be Pos Malaysia. I guess international mail / parcel gives very tiny margin that's why they axed these services without looking back, with the excuse of focusing on domestic poslaju deliveries during covid. In any case our small businesses selling internationally are seriously affected.

They didnt have a choice since they depend on taking space on airlines, all the airlines no longer flying. Ive had to deduce this since they are MUM on any stated, official reason for ending Flexipak. Obviously the test will come when the airlines return. China Airlines said they are retuning to service for Taipei-Los Angeles in June and are showing flights from KL and Penang so there might be hope.

BUT....the Asia Express website doesnt look temporary and its possible if they get enough intl business they will fold Flexipak forever. I wonder who is going to be pay me back for all the Flexipaks and trackings we bought?

We sell on Ebay and Ecrater and depend on the sales to live. So long waiting has been catastrophic. There is no possible way our customers would except FedEx or similar charges. Even RM30 for the smallest Flexipak/tracking is a hard sell when the same kind of paks go from China for so cheap or even free. So if Flexipak is really gone, I have to become a grave digger, factory bus driver or sell nasi lemak at the roadside and maybe hillside too! What isnt coming but is required is a final answer from Pos Malaysia. They wont discuss it. Again, sending from Singapore is dirt cheap but we have no method to access it.

Hi guys ,I'm currently running a sticker shop that sell to overseas. I was wondering is there any alternative cheaper shipping courier services ? Previously I am using DHL ecommerce Packet Plus International , but they will stop their service on 1st May 2021.

Is there a cheaper rate shipping service or at least same price range as DHL Packet Plus? For example normally I send stuff around 3-5 gram(mail letter size). With the price of RM30+ to USA.

I know Pos Laju will be cheap , but pos laju has stopped their international services due to Covid 19 Pandemic.

Thank you

Singapore Post. It was RM12 for 150g when I last checked recently. But how to use it from Malaysia? This means someone in JB has to take it over the bridge and to a post office or find an agent in Singapore to send to but now its higher cost to get it to the agent. I asked Singapore Post if I could post parcels to a Singapore post office for re-mailing and they said no.

Update from Pos Malaysia about Flexipak, they say they dont have the package handlers at work due to covid and when the cases stop they will gradually return the service. That could be years. But would they make such a statement if they didnt have Asia Express? And, have they never heard of masks in the workplace? After all, how can there be plenty of workers for Asia Express during covid but none for Flexipak DUE to covid? The masks work for Asia Express workers but not for Flexipak workers? Why is there no threat of covid for Asia Express, only for Flexipak? There is a term for Pos Malaysia's position, its called Non Sequitur.

I remember there used to be some service provider the likes of easyparcel but not easyparcel, I forgot their name, that offered pickup for SingPost in Malaysia, but I just can't find it anymore, which is a shame. As I remember, their price was really more competitive compared to equivalent POS Malaysia services.

Sigh, I just don't get why are our courier services' rate so uncompetitive. Really disappointing turn of events.

No idea. Previously I looked for such an agent but didnt find. I had written to SingPost about opening an office in Malaysia for that purpose and they said they had no interest. Wish I could change their mind, they would be easily allowed over the bridge and get oodles of business. I have a backlog of maybe 300 small parcels right now and all of those will evaporate as my customers give up waiting. Such a frustrating mess.
