Hi Erny. Just want to get a better understanding of what services your company can provide. Take the above picture for instance. Did the owner actually tell u what he/she wants or you went to inspect the house to propose what you think will look good ?

first impression most of the time will be good. wait till you begin asking for details or negotiating prices and the true colors will come out....

ppl who have had bad experience will definitely tread more carefully. no one needs to feel stressed or offended at all. after all, forums are created to share knowledge and experience.
for lowlowc, I wouldn't consider your KC at all. There are many KC makers out there who's willing to take measurement and give u a quotation without obligation.
I was at the M'sian Furniture and Furnishing Exhibition at KLCC over the weekend and came across one KC who requires 50% upon confirmation and the other 50% BEFORE installation. He kept telling me his price is very low as he's giving FREE granite top !! Then I asked if I have paid the full amt even b4 installation, what will happen if something is not right during/after installation ? His face immediately turned sour, never replied me and I just said thank you and walked off.
He was so friendly initially and this is what I meant in my earlier post. funny how some ppl are...maybe i looked like a dumbo who'll agree to terms like that without questions. hahaha....

good guess...u've done your homework too. in fact, that fella kept pestering me to pay a deposit b4 i had a chance to ask abt pymt terms. i asked how much. he said any amt. I went like "what ???". what do u mean by "any" amt ? Can i pay RM10 then ? To which he then said RM500 or RM300, up to u la. funny right how some companies train their sales ppl ?
lowlowc, i always thought measurement is free. No ? Coz none of those i've asked to come for measurement actually told me it's chargeable. so i take it as FREE and WITHOUT OBLIGATION.
