quick question, what would be the best way to have a neatly "integrated" / "built in" towel rack? I guess typically most people would hang their towels on a normal towel rack in the room, or in the bathroom... any better ideas?

did you ask your source how does granite emit radiation? what is the half life for granite? did you hear if it was granite or kryptonite?

EDIT: ok i take that back. maybe Erny and other cabinet guys can give some input on this?

very disappointed with UD. initially i contacted 2 diff KC guys here, steve and later UD. Steve met me at my place before reno started but din come back to me after that at all - no worries.

UD had very good service before installation, whether its at their showroom, or meeting up to do actual measurements, quote adjustments, even up before installation day, they called to remind that they will be coming. even the delivery guys called on actual installation day (Thurs 23 Dec) to confirm the time etc.

as I was at work, my parents were around to help monitor my house reno. apparently the installers were not the "primary" UD team, whatever that means, due to the rush to complete their orders. As a result, the installation was total CRAP:
1. melamine lamination was poor, certain portions looked like it was peeling off the board
2. screws were exposed because another board to cover it up wasn't installed.
3. my hood's chimney was bent and scratched, and the covering was not flush with the chimney, meaning lizards, dust, cockroaches etc can enter the chimney from the top with ease
4. other panels were poorly installed, dirty, or "swollen" from moisture exposure etc

the best part was this was only my wet kitchen. due to some confusion on UD's end, my dry kitchen never arrived. my parents were totally pissed as we were planning to use the new kitchen oven to roast a turkey (foh kai) for Christmas dinner (i'm not a Christian, but just for fun), but end up we just went out for steam boat (foh woh). Even the wet kitchen hob wasn't installed, i have no idea why. the installers just sed dunno and left.

Patric was uncontactable until late night and agreed to meet on 24 Friday at my place to check it out. He admitted it was their mistake for messing up the orders and agreed that the entire installation was crap - i demanded and he agreed to replace the entire set of cabinets with a new set and promised to have the replacement and dry kitchen installed on Monday 27th. Still waiting to see how that goes, but thank you UD for screwing up my Xmas weekend. anyone wants pics?

so I went late last night (10pm) to my house to check on the status of the reinstallation. apparently a team of 4-5 ppl including Patric was there until 8-9pm. my parents couldn't supervise the work up close as there was too much dust from all the chipboard sawing.

overall, it is rectified, but still pending on some stuffs:
1. wet kitchen seems okay, but i will need to inspect in further detail. dish drainer still not yet installed - Patric will arrange again to have that installed. it wasn't a 100% reinstallation, just change of affected parts.
2. dry kitchen pending granite installation. there are some alignment issues for a certain portion, so Patric needs to rectify it.

i don't have any pictures now, will probably inspect again and take some snaps again.

How's the 2nd installation like (up to date)? Satisfactory?

You have so many cabinets la. Hehe.

O, using a "normal" glass for your "white" 3G door, is turn greenish after spray a white paint. I personally not able to accept this "white"
*
that is your own personal opinion. i specifically requested for this colour to match my other glass doors and windows.

with your kind of attitude, i wonder how you can be a so called "designer" which is a "service orientated job" since you go round criticizing others, make condescending remarks and finally making your own judgment as gospel instead of understanding customer needs.

then again, that's just how you are, how you conduct yourself, and how you post on forums anyway right? what a prick.

O, i guess you not really see clearly what i write, i already mention personally don like, i never mean u have to dont like as well, not try to offen you, and i tot forum is the place sharing own opinion, may be i am wrong tot on forum. If offen you, so sorry about that.

there this prick goes again, claiming that he is just misunderstood. sounds like a politician.
i don't care what the manufacturing process is, i just want that specific colour.

if i were u, i wouldn't go round criticizing works of others in public, especially ur in the same business. it just shows a total lack of professionalism and class on your part. i don't see any other person with vested interests giving "opinions" on the works of others in a public forum - only you.

Hi Erny,

Apology accepted. Just got back from being overseas for 2 weeks and the granite top has been installed.

Will be checking it out further, and may consider built in wardrobe for my room, thanks.
