Property User: I think what eleganz concept said is correct. I think it will be safer for you to get a professional to get it done for you. It will not be fun when the glass falls off if you use some kind of 'Glue' to 'Glue' it on. Furthermore, alot of those special stuff are not available to public, mostly are sold to contractors only.

I guess the glass are probably sprayed the same way the factory sprays colours on cars?? Not sure, just a guess. If it is, then you would need some kind of electrical spray machine thing.

A normal spray paint won't do, it might not 'stick' to the glass properly.
*
Actually the paint not really similar to car paint, however u are right, you need a spray gun and air presure machine to do so. So if you need to ready all this kind of tools, then i think the cheaper way is pay to other ppl and let them do.

u have 11ft base unit but using 20ft granite? or other then 11ft base unit, u still have another unit so call counter top? not too sure.

For me, i will say 3G is batter, arclylic is more easy to scratch

Is white color 3G door will not be pure white when view it, it will have some greenish color because clear glass actually have green color??

Is this true? Or because the shop provide different grade of glass?

One of the kitchen shop told me this. The sample he show me, a piece of board with different types of color, also showing the white color 3G is greenish.
*
Yes, that is true, usually normal glass is greenish base, so when spray white, will still show greenish. But there is a solution, what you need to do is pay a bit more to get a batter grade glass. I able to produce pure white 3G glass door.

we are a carpentry factory, but that is too hard to find this kind of material for your TV cabinet. Even, still can be find but i would say the cost is extreamly high.

Well, if you looking for alternative material which come with lower cost compare to solid wood then just use back the normal way from what we usually do, using laminated and ply wood. We did a lot and some of my client are putting thier 57" LCD just on top of our hanging TV cabinet of coz included all the equipment plus DVD collection in the drawer.

Will just pm you some infor.

Hi, is't 3g glass is not good for kitchen cabinet. Kian Classique told me better to use Arcrylic other then use 3g. It;s easy to broke. Is't true. But i see that arcrylic is easy to scratch.
*
So far, i haven hear any of my client or friend say about break of glass for 3G, because the proper way of doing 3G will have a wood support at the back of glass, so break is hard to happen unless you purposely knock on it. But what u say is right, arcrylic is very easy to scratch and the shadow reflextion are not good as using glass.

O, using a "normal" glass for your "white" 3G door, is turn greenish after spray a white paint. I personally not able to accept this "white"

that is your own personal opinion. i specifically requested for this colour to match my other glass doors and windows.

with your kind of attitude, i wonder how you can be a so called "designer" which is a "service orientated job" since you go round criticizing others, make condescending remarks and finally making your own judgment as gospel instead of understanding customer needs.

then again, that's just how you are, how you conduct yourself, and how you post on forums anyway right? what a prick.

Hi erny, I am in the midst of doing my renovation. I consult some of the contractor abt the kitchen top and some recommend me to use granite top and some said concrete 2x2 is the most lasting
My question is will this granite top anti-stain and anti scratch?? Please anybody can help??  rclxub.gif I want to drop by your office after chinese new year, can u pm me your address and hp no so i can call before i come.
*
Granite is not anti stain and anti scratch, if you looking for some similar material i think you may be need to consider about Quartz Stone, which is more anti stain compare to granite, but of coz price will be higher compare to granite. Beside that, about long lasting, actually is just depent how is the user using it, some ppl even can long lasting by using posform top (malemine top) just simply because they do take care the top very well.

Hi,

I am not very sure about the material as I bought this house just recently and the cabinet looks fine but I just thought of changing the exterior layer only. If you want i can post the picture of the current one. Btw, are you dealing with kitchen cabinets?
*
Ya, that good ideal, if you can share some photo, but i guess the kitchen cabinet come with developer, should be Malemine, if so, then u may change the color with laminate and redo the end finishing with new ABS, if there is laminate, then just direct change the laminated will do, if the above 2 obtion are not work, then u have to change the door and remain the cabinet.

Wait for your photo. and by the way, we are interior designer company which doing all kind of carpentry work

Hi... attached are my current kitchen cabinets... how could I re-use it by not changing the entire cabinet and just changing the exterior layer. how much it cost to do so?
*
If i not mistaken, that is membrane press door with malemine body, so i think what u can do is, change the door with diff material, and lay laminate to your body on the site.

Just for your information, that will cost you less compare to change the whole cabinet, but may be that cost is not too far compare to make a new 1, because there is many thing have to do on site to lay laminate pcs by pcs.

Anyway, PMed.
