Had my kitchen area and wardrobe done by the following:

Kitchen Cabinet 10ft + Bar Area 8ft (approximately) RM9500 by Everskill Design (Steve)

Fotile JX05+HD1B + Johnson Suisse Tap by Builders Hardware (Zean)

Ikea Bohelmen 1 and a half Stainless Steel Sink

Sliding Door Wardrobe 5ft (2 units) by Everskill Design (Steve)

I need to thank Steve from Everskill and his guys for his work.
I choosed Everskill as they offer the best price in 3G glass.
Many plus points to their cabinet.

They even help me install the lights and install Ikea Handles instead of the 'common' 3G glass door built in handle.

The standard design for wall thickness is 100mm to 150mm. For bearing wall for some condos will be around 100mm. Bearing wall is for those building without minor column. So the wallplug/screw is only 3 inch / 75mm, and only 60mm will be in the wall. So it is ok for u to fix the tv bracket on the wall.  smile.gif
Only low cost flat will use block wall, it is empty inside, the purpose normally to divide the area and it will provide minimum load to the structure. So if the wall is built by block wall, then u can't hack or fix any screw on it.  smile.gif

Hope this info helps~ cheers!

thx for the detailed explanation ..
Is there any way to verify whether it's "bearing wall" or "block wall", as the wall now oledi painted properly ?

Can i ask what is the difference of installing a built in oven at waist level, slightly below waist line and underneath the hob?? I have a very limited wall space in my new house. If i put the oven at waist line, meaning I'll probably lost out a full height cabinet which i really want.

A KC installer tell me is because if it is underneath, the steam/heat of the oven will easily hurt the person because steam comes out quickly from the oven.

what is ur suggestion?

The external for the KC normally with be 3G, Acrylic, etc.

Easier way is to hack the wall, bearing wall built by concrete and steel rod, block wall is brick but hollow inside.
Pro way is read from the structure plan. brows.gif
