on a slightly related note, my friend is having his phone warranty handled by maxis, just slightly two months of usage, the phone would just not wake up from its sleep, he's still waiting for like 2 months

do insist on talking to the branch manager, tell him politely but authoritatively your situation and tell him what do you expect from their services.

if they are not to par, threaten to go menara maxis and do a big hoo haa or even worst, report to MCMC or the consumer's tribunal.

i suggested these steps to a friend, and yes he got his phone replaced right on the spot. this was at gardens btw.
