QUOTE(yehlai @ Nov 9 2009, 12:17 AM) from paper it looks as good as other more well known brands / models, if not better.it's a new model from KIA, nobody can tell how good it will be 10 years down the road but for me, it offers value for money compared to other offerings in Malaysia's car market. i'm just hoping that after sales service from Naza will match our expectations. on a side note, there's this extended warranty program from Naza's website. i wonder how much one needs to pay for that extended warranty. i think that would be one of the 1st things to ask once we know the confirmed price of the car. so for now, lets wait for the launch This post has been edited by yhlee12: Nov 9 2009, 08:23 AM |

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Nov 9 2009, 05:44 PM) after so many discussion on how good the car is etc etc.... exactly... it's the after sales service that matters.in the end, naza still need to improve their freaking after sales service or else its no use how good kia is,its still gonna stay at its current state while the T&H took over the sales if compared civic for the price,i agree no fight lo since civic is ckd while this is cbu with many features in it,but i still love civic interior no matter what. if u compare this with mazda 3...ahem ahem Naza somehow can get hold of a good product. hope they don't spoil it. |

QUOTE(Burgerlim @ Nov 9 2009, 08:35 PM) the 2.0 is still MDPS, right? anyway the electric power steering in singapore Forte was one issue highlighted in Autocar earlier this year.kinda relieved that Naza is bringing in hydraulic instead, for something Kia hasn't really sorted out / adjust to perfect. the training manual is the product kit for Naza SA. it's the same as the scanned pictures with specs, posted few pages back. burgerlim, what do you think of the 17 inch wheels? bumpy? QUOTE(madman20 @ Nov 10 2009, 01:57 PM) i think we just stick to our booking la... it'll create bad feeling among the SA's, and not fair also since they have been giving prompt updates to us. if got friends want to book one, then only refer to our friend's uncle here la i chose to book with sales branch instead of sales dealer because i think chances of getting the car faster through branch is higher. one thing for sure the SA's can rely on a car that can bring them good sales. good for the brand |

if it's the open for tender range, where you submit your bid, the number is valid for 3 months.
if it's under the current / running range, it's only valid for a month. this is what i understand from the JPJ forms. anyone can confirm? |

QUOTE(madman20 @ Nov 12 2009, 02:18 AM) Well..if 2nd hand value is really important for you..you'd better wait it out..this car is new..it's hard to say =/ true... nobody knows how good the car will be 3 - 5 yrs from now. that's why interested buyers like us are aiming for the CBU batch... for that extra bit of security... also when the car is assembled in Gurun later on, nobody knows whether the Rondo history will repeat itself the SA's are assuring us, but it's still pretty much an unknown there. |

QUOTE(iluvena @ Nov 13 2009, 03:11 PM) yup. they claim can do like that. cool... i don't mind doing that if can get the car faster.then when the forte officially launch, your loan already approve. one or two week can get the car already. it just to expedite the process. but then... haven't even test drive leh... what if i don't like the car? my booking receipt is stating spectra5, since forte is not in their system also. LOU, is letter of undertaking... |

QUOTE(phelix @ Nov 13 2009, 07:07 PM) my booking was a temporary booking form... which they won't enter the data into the system as forte is not available on system. well there's this temporary booking form which the SA wrote Forte there, but i ended up with a receipt stating spectra 5.erm.. the loan can be cancel if u don't like the car... as long as u didn't sign on it. but deposit refund might be harder coz the loan approved according to min. is up to you to decide.. but i do have confident with the car handling and quality. that's why i don't mind to proceed loan first... the most car on the road was hyundai x20 in seoul... my colleague has it too... while i sit on it... the feeling is much more better than proton... handling was good as well... and NVH is good enough. they are sister company of Kia... that's why i have more and more confident on Kia. too bad i booked with another SA, not the same as yours, if not will surely go bargain together with you guys anyone knows when the car is available for viewing / test drive? if i'm not mistaken last time before city launches those who pre-booked the car gets to see it before the actual launching. wonder whether we can do the same |

QUOTE(madman20 @ Nov 14 2009, 08:45 AM) Yeap..that's why the Forte in SG is damn hot..not only cheaper..the specification + accessories that comes with the car is making the car a good deal there.. madman... i booked end of Oct laa... i think before u guys.I'm not surprised the price is jacked up for P1 laa..P1 is damn spoilt now..if the car is price lowered..P1 will definitely die off lorr.. by the way, 1.6 SX confirmed price is 81,800. same as the expected price mentioned earlier. i guess the price for EX and 2.0 should be the same also, didn't ask my SA. time to prepare document for loan... |

QUOTE(phelix @ Nov 14 2009, 04:23 PM) no single cent discount from min le... price increase? hmmm... won't write out that possibility, but it won't be good if they are aiming to break the dominance of the T.H.N. cars.i've asked... just saying we are lucky cos book earlier... later on price will increase... i don't know.. some say.. registration date makes the different... and some say... manufacturing date makes the different. @bomberman, good to hear that titanium silver... is silver available? i thought they put there titanium gray. |

QUOTE(jimmy.soo @ Nov 16 2009, 07:32 PM) wow. if 7 yrs is lower than 3.1, that's good news.i think i'll have to check with my friend as well then. i thought it's standard everywhere. actually if u r looking at 5 yrs loan for example, a 3.25% loan will make u pay 750 more in total interest, compared to a 3% loan... not that significant to be honest... but hey, it's something we can save on... why not |
