Hi Julz, how about price? Firmed at 93k for 2.0 spec?

Thinking about Rondo or this. two different class one is mini MPV one is car, dilemma right...

So far i have seen many good comments about Rondo.
Phelix was right, not apple to apple.

One is mini MPV and Forte is car. That's why still thinking.

But I am not in rush, can wait till 15th Nov. The feeling is like: finally it is here.
Let's see how's the car.

I am wondered, will they do the same like Rondo, they had 800 units CBU, then after that the rest are CKD.

erm...that would be nice. The first batch CBU price and CKD price will not be huge difference for Rondo case. But, CKD has taken out few things.

I guess Forte might be the same strategy. If that is the case, better go for 1st batch

I was based on Citra II Rondo case making an assumption. Rondo was first brought in with 800 units as CBU, and lucky buyer got the CBU car. Then later stage, all Rondo stocks are considered CKD (tipu CKD, 90% still import, Naza only put on steering, bumper etc.) and price is same with the 800 units.

I am not sure Forte will go thru the same strategy. If so, of course the first batch will be better, becoz it is CBU mah.

I have just came back from Kia Puchong office, tested drive Rondo, the sales guy told me Forte will be launched 24th Nov.

So, we have two dates now, 15th & 24th.

Forte 2.0 price will be 93k. That was what the sales person told me. For Rondo case, the CKD has taken out something compare to CBU.

I also hope that Forte follow the Rondo strategy.

@julz76: Rondo not bad man. RM84,888 with 4k discount further 2.0litre car + 7 seater. Very steady and I have read some forums, got good comment about this car.

That's why I will be headache soon if Forte is another great car.

I went to Puchong Jaya one. Further up from IOI if you come from cyberjaya direction, heading towards Sunway.

I think White color will be cool. With black sarung, wow..like Audi man.

I think would be good if we get some comments from lion-land users about the quality.

The car has been there for quite some time I guess.
