A few months back SA was telling, launching is in May than July and now they say Oct. Probably due to unsold Spectras?

And Yeah if you go to SG forum you will notice the car has some problems.
FC is quite high and if you can get 13Km/L is considered very good.(the car is really damn heavy)
And here those City owners who is averaging 13-14km/l making a big fuss of it..!

Forte in Pic look good but in flesh it looks even better.
Seen one in Red and another couple of Silvers.
Quite tempting but will hold on to see WaLa (waja+Lancer) first and if nothing fits a used FD2 or new Altis will be good for me.

Perhaps it is delayed due to pending NAP announcement.

Yup... that's the red-themed civic type R I mentioned. More fierce/crazy than the sedan... A bit ah beng-ish though.
But over here in Aust the Civic Type R costs about the same as a Golf GTi... The latter is probably a wiser choice.

Upload the magazine review ASAP tongue.gif
I don't really like One Shift's reviews to be honest. Most of them are too short and not detailed enough.
SGCarMart does a better job at this.

I might have posted this before, but CarAdvice has posted a comparison between the Cruze/Forte/City in the past. The two Koreans get thumbs up while the City's price pulls it down.
http://www.caradvice.com.au/33990/comparis...uze-kia-cerato/
It's Aussie spec (and price of course) but it gives some perspective into how well packaged the Forte is compared to the overpriced City.

Having said that, bear in mind that Aussie review websites sometimes tend to compare cars with different specs - eg manual vs auto. Same goes with their Wheels Magazine.

Torque magazine rates Forte higher than Cruze and Avante(Elantra)

If the sales is poor(which I doubt for the first 6 months) how are they going to jack up the price?
Don't believe all the words thrown by the SA's.

I've seen in flesh too and it is really tempting.
But knowing Naza's way of after sales and services and the resale value of Korean Cars I am having a second thought
about this car.

And can someone tell Naza not to price Forte closer to T & H, cause the sales won't be good in the long run.

Wah, Forte is priced cheaper compare to City and Vios in Singapore.
But in here it is priced closer or slightly more.......... hmm.gif

according to a friend working in Kia, it seems Naza wanted to price it lower but the BN Gov asking to increase the
price in order to protect ...you know.

no single cent discount from min le...
i've asked... just saying we are lucky cos book earlier... later on price will increase...
i don't know.. some say.. registration date makes the different...
and some say... manufacturing date makes the different.

It is the year car manufactured that makes the difference. So getting a car made in 09 in 2010 is considered a loss of
one year of value. But what the heck, if you like the cbu unit just do it.....

it's the same as the elantra / avante system, just that avante one is at the back, this one is at the center console.

Saw the car just now.
SX look good inside but the EX really can make ppl to turn off.

Rear leg room is a bit tight compare to City. And there is no Back Pocket for the Driver's seat.
For rear passengers I think it will be a bit uncomfortable cause the degree of the seat is too forward just like Persona.
Other than that everything look pretty cool. I really enjoy looking at the instrument panels.

Really enthusiastic to book this car but after seeing, feel and touch, I think I will wait until WajaLancer to come in first.
and surprisingly the Branch I checked (up north) did not have any booking so far.
