I suggest stay away from all those chap-plang brand.

Sharp, Samsung, Sony etc. Isn't that expensive anymore. An HDTV LCD (1360 x 768) will looks better than a chap-plang FULL HD TV. Resolution isn't everything. The movies and games on my Sharp Aquos looks better than my BENQ LCD monitor eventhough the Sharp has lower res(1360 x768) compared to the LCD monitor (1680 x 1050).

If low on budget, better get a HDTV LCD branded LCD instead of Chap-plang FULLHD LCD.

The best LCD is the one with the longest warranty. No kidding. There is really not that much difference between the big brands as far as PQ goes, but an extra year or two of warranty will save a lot of heartache later.

depends on what you purpose you want the LCD lor, if gaming on desktop then better use LCD monitor, if blu ray, DVD and console then get a full HD LCD TV, you wont regret it

I am planning to buy a LCD TV, and the room where I want to fix the TV is 16x12 feet. I want to know who is the leader in LCD technology in India today. Also, which one is better? LCD or Plasma?
