was wondering if anyone could share where i could find shops in msia tht could offer iphone skyscape applications for free if you get stuff from them. Am looking for skyscape Veterinary medicine applications... eg. 5 minute vet consult for canine and feline, vetdrugs, parasitology and 5 minute vet consult for equine...

Im a medical student and I am contemplating of getting an iphone 3g or PDA (windows based) . Ofcourse i prefer the iphones. medical applications are important for me and skyscape have applications which I want. However, I heard that medical software are real expensive if you download them and cost like US100 per application . Was wondering if annyone could help me in sugggesting any benefits which i could get by buying the iphones in terms of getting the medical skyscape applications for a much cheaper price or maybe free? ;p . I know could get good benefits for PDA phones for the applications but i really love the iphones ....only applications holding me back... thks. Appreciate help.

If you plan to purchase the iPhone, the only way to purchase skyscape application legally is thru iTunes AppStore and is priced at USD 49-109. There's no way of getting those applications with cheaper price or free.

If the price of the applications disappoints you, then iPhone may not fit your bill. Proceed to PDA forum to continue your discussion.

when it comes to your tool of trade, i reckon that you shouldn't be attempting to save. things like that are suppose to enhance your learning and knowledge.

anyway that price sounds about right, as far as i can recall, medical textbooks and online subscriptions cost approximately the same price.

its better if u save up n get tat app u want to...
few months ago, thr wud be a way, but now tat too wun work...

You can afford to buy a nice iPhone.. but u wanna skimp when buying the apps.. what la.. Support the developers.

yup. a good analogy to support your claim is owning a bmw, but refusing to pay the parking fees involved to house your car. instead you wanna park at the side of the road.

and here is the best part, if something happens to your precious car, then you would wanna blame everyone else but yourself. same goes here if something happens to your iPhone as a result of using the pirated apps and you wanna blame iPhone for producing an incompetent unit.

Although it may sounds over expensive to you (or anyone else), but if it is really useful and worth-for-money, why don't you get it at the price ?

Nothing comes with Free, isn't it ? If it is.... perhaps there is a hidden-catch there... who knows rite ?

The only hope you can is, the App you wanted is ON SALE... then perhaps you can get it with cheaper price than current RSP.
