QUOTE(Andrew Lim @ Dec 16 2009, 07:11 PM) Guys I may have accidentally dropped a coin into the parking brake box while the parking brake was up. When the parking brake is up, there's a small hole underneath the lever. I dropped a few coins by accident and one of them may have fell into the hole. The hand brake lever right? I can see some 1cent coins inside mine. So far so good.I drove home without any problems, but I was wondering if it's dangerous to have a coin in the parking brake box. My car is an automatic transmission. Added on December 17, 2009, 3:53 am QUOTE(rozz_1291 @ Dec 17 2009, 03:44 AM) Izzit common Myvi wobbles during highspeed braking (170k/h++) or there is sumthing wrong wit my car??? Wobbles as in jerking/shaking? Can check your disc rotor or brake pads. But then again, myvi braking at 170km/h?? Our myvi are not built for high speed velocity as the body is not solid enough. Its a family car after all. Probably can add front strut bar and Rear Anti Roll Bar if u havent have any. This post has been edited by EightPhantomz: Dec 17 2009, 03:53 AM |

QUOTE(rozz_1291 @ Dec 17 2009, 04:08 AM) When I start braking, da car starts 2 sway off left n right and da steering vibrates abit How bout during driving? No vibrates? It can be the disc rotor, brake pads, caliper etc. Can go to P2SC and ask. Normal la I think. Mine also vibrates with squeeking sound while braking. Need to change the whole braking system. |

QUOTE(vmon85 @ Dec 18 2009, 03:17 PM) If i plan to change the alarm system and the horn of my myvi but will the warranty voided if i installed them ? For the alarm system, yes, since u'll be messing around with the wirings and such. Not too sure about the horn. Small stuff. U better ask the guys at P2SC to confirm whether such mods/changes will void component warranty or packaged ones. |

QUOTE(cheeann @ Dec 20 2009, 05:38 PM) wat is vibrating goin to do wit strut bars n arb? ? He didnt really said vibrating at first. He said wobbles which can have so many meanings. Can be vibrating=disc rotor, can be swaying=Anti Roll Bar/Anti Sway Bar. QUOTE(cheeann @ Dec 20 2009, 05:38 PM) btw i've tested myvi wit arb which is totally useless~ I find it very much useful when cornering. Front Strut Bar + Rear Anti Roll Bar. Significant before and after effects. Not sure if u're talking about just Anti Roll Bar. This post has been edited by EightPhantomz: Dec 21 2009, 07:38 AM |

Need ur expertise on this. hahhaaha~ for those who bought arb from ultra racing confirm kena chop liao~ Apparently, all the guys at MMC and MyviC have installed Rear ARB. QUOTE(MyWifeCar @ Dec 22 2009, 12:13 PM) I installed it too... and a few of my friends too. I'm curious to know too. I have tested my friends' UR Front Strut Bar plus UR Rear Anti Roll Bar before. Can feel the difference. But why no effect? we all can really feel the difference of installing one and without one... Basically the body-roll is greatly reduce during cornering, I guess you can also say you can have a better control of your car when cornering... cheeann, are you saying it makes no difference to you at all? I havent really installed any bars on mine as I'm planning to get Cusco Front Strut Bar. Rear ARB would have to wait; probably Passo Racy one. Not sure. |

Hehe.y not u bring over ur car to me wit ur arb n i'll take u for a test~ then later i dismantle it i 'll take u for a test again at same spot n u tell me it there's any diff or not~ reason to toll u guys y ardb is useless cuz wen u come then i'll tell n y loh~ for those of u who can't come n cannot come then is jus too bad lo~ If anybody wanna take cheeann's offer, I wanna go see too. BTW cheeann, where is your place? |
