Anybody did a brake service before?

I went to service my car today and it cost me RM 283.20. Items include:

1. Brake Front & Rear: RM 30
2. Wheel Alignment (Front): RM 25
3. Wheel Balancing & Rotation: RM 25
4. Basic Service: RM 30
5. Brake Fluid (2pcs): RM 20
6. Element S/A: RM 12.95
7. Gasket: RM 4.80
8. Battery Water: RM 2.70
9. Syntium 800 Engine Oil (own): RM 97

hi everyone, where can i get original myvi se front bumper? silver color myvi se '07 model..went to perodua SC this evening and they quoted me rm945 for the bumper+paint    anyone knows where i can get it cheaper? just need the bumper only..hit a bike few days back..now got no money

had any MYVI enthusiast selected the best service center other than Perodua one?
I read in Myvi forum, many are not satisfied with P2 services.
Im thinking of a good workshop that provides genuine products and good services endorsed by Myvi members or clubs.

Yes but where is the location. I live in Subang Jaya .
Good Service meant to me is that he knows about Myvi stuff better than anybody does. Many Myvi Car owners endorsed him because he is honest and don't cheat. His price is Reasonable as well.
He has support for Car Breakdown if it happens in anywhere part of KL. Many Myvi consider the workshop as thier lifetime partner in servicing their car.

anyone changed wheel bearing before?
my wheel bearing making "woooooooo......." sound, the higher speed the louder sound........
workshop charged me Rm140 bearing + labor for 1 side... is it reasonable?

I need to ask sifu..

Myvi 1.0 ejVe engine using timing belt.. mine clocked 80,000 km edi..

so what's need to change? other than the timing belt of course..

I heard need to replace aircond belt thingy.. ?? Need service aircon?

My steering isn't exactly centered when the drive (tyres) are straight... is this a birth defect? Or can SC rectify this?

My steering isn't centered when i am driving in a straight line. More like the degree of the steering is around 5 degree to the right. If the turn the steering to be exactly on the center, then the car will move to left....

To all myvi expert, I need help, I want to deactivate the front passenger airbag for my wifes car.

Reason being now she is carrying the baby in the rear seat but I feel its dangerous coz sometimes the baby cries and might get choke, wife while driving have to keep one hand pacifying her and its very distracting when she keeps hvg to look behind.

I've called 2 perodua centre and both give contradicting advise.

1 say can do it if I remove the bag.
1 say cannot do it as the ECU will keep blinking AB mull function and might cause problem for ECU in long run.

Both say cannot cut the airbag wire as this would cause all the airbag to not function.

Any expert opinion?

basically he bought this MYVI special edisyun or whatever, ah beang color aka orange

he went for his 1s service yesterday
this is his story

they installed some engine noise reducer padding = RM 8x
p2 engine oil 4L = RM 80 (wow!)

they did wheel alignment cause he wanted to check, they said done, but still not aligned
he kiasu a bit, his front bumper got hit previously so he asked to check spring they said changed clip, but no clip was changed, when asked, they are not even sure which side, but charged him

but the funniest part is the battery contact protector
his car originally had it
but they charged as if he did not have it
then when come back and open the bonnet
even the old protectors were gone!
they just glue back with tape!

all in the name of 1st warranty must send to perodua
he sent to P2SC Taman Bukit Maluri

if you buy a real Toyota you will not have these problems

Why do u say if u buy real Toyota will not have these problems?? Means buying Myvi is like buying Toyota?? I am not anti Toyota, just wondering why u came up with that statement..

Anyway, I service my Myvi at Kepong / Jinjang eventhough I live in PJ... I don't mind travel so far for service as I find the Jinjang service good.. Fast and friendly... I went to the so-called best in Msia SC in PJ... Sucks, what also don't know how to fix and take damn long to service..

oh okay, what about spark plugs? which means any performance part i put to my car also will void warranty? 

waaaaaa sakit hati. i also scratched the whole of my side skirt out of carelessness yesterday, but yours is way serious. my skirt bottom paint all scratch off.   

dam hate goodyear nct5 so noisy and uncomfortable, no money change yet  raising money .....
