that kruk kruk knocking sound is when going through uneven road.
still got other sound when taking corner....like "tak tak"

i think i know where d sound coming from already~
bring back 2 sc n tell them sounds come from caliper~

leather is like our skin ma...u jaga ma nice lor...u no jaga ma not nice lor (faded/cracked)...
IMO it looks better & not so dust-magnet, unlike fabric (try smack on it & u'll c ) lol...
if choose leather then jus get urself Maguairs' Gold class leather care...its "lotion" for our "eather seats/upholstery

just change a pair of new caliper last week thursday.
still the same after change new caliper

if then u might need 2 check wit ur driveshaft

Previously I got "ngek ngek" sound from back rear suspension there when cornering. Complain for 5 - 6 times also diden solve... until now the sound diden come out de. So just leave it.

At first the perodua service quoted her 230 for the work she paid the deposit for this. Then today when she collected her car they charged in total 545 RM to replace the back windscreen (glass). Can you imagine 545 for the small back glass. They had added RM 180 & 120 charges as misc...Is it really so expensive?

u only can duplicate the key at P2 SC... but that will cost u a bomb from there...

how serious is ur crack? now in the market have some chemical to repair hair line crack and still look after that...
u should get the quote from mirror shop who able to do the repairing...

u can do it at ard rm150-230 cheaper depending wat glass u're taking~

The glass they install is MSG printed on it no extra perodua logo etc. In the bill its just listed as D73A back glass. No tint or anyting special. My wife will go back to them this morning and ask them what the extra 180 ++ charges are for. She told me not to follow because i definetly will loose my temper there.

Also checking with my insurance agent if can claim or not as in the policy it is listed as Windscreen & windows, amount RM600.

Added on May 30, 2009, 9:04 amThe crack at the rear is spider web fine lines all over the rear windscreen. Looks like it is a known issue that the rear glass cracks, read many cases in Malaysia.

Added on May 30, 2009, 9:07 amNew update as per SC RM 180 is labour charges listed as Misc, RM 120 is the damm sealent. Total cost for parts is RM356, total cost for labour is freaking RM 180. Crazy...
I just hope can claim insurance.
