Aiyo, razuryza only tries to say that lens is VR can reduce camera shake especially for those with unstable hand. I personally find that VR @ 55mm quite useful in low light condition, can reduce the blur cause by my hand shake.
Any way, cant compare kit lens with 17-55 f2.8 surely, it's a different level of lens, jst like comparing BMW with proton, how can compare, the price is far much more expensive..
