QUOTE(Primalprime @ Apr 28 2010, 09:37 PM) F.Y.I, too bad, maybe it just went fast because of testing.I did http download and managed to currently get around 100-120kbs which is 1/2 of what I normally get. At least it's better than ftp's 10kbs speed. Perhaps that will help people that suffers similar fate with me. But,...if you lost connection,...start all over again which is a drag. Added on May 1, 2010, 8:42 am Added on May 1, 2010, 8:48 am check out my download for yesterday between 4am to 12pm today. the speed consistent around 1gb in 1 hour. |

Good news to everyone, now with every purchase or renew of 30GB or more will get free VPN from our partner VVPN4U (http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1223990)
This is basically to those who have very bad download speed for past few weeks. I notice from few users’ feedback, that when they use VPN, they can get full speed. However due to cost I need to pay our partner on each VPN provided, I can only offer this to newly or renew 30GB or more package only. The VPN itself for 30 days cost RM20. If you are interested to try can email our partner at vvpn4u@gmail.com for 1 day trial or visit LYN forum here http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1223990 and test download the speed your self. As for now this is a best solution and it fix the download speed. The VPN will expire together with your UltrafluX package. This post has been edited by Safar: May 6 2010, 08:47 AM |

QUOTE(azrilyp @ May 20 2010, 06:46 AM) my problem is slightly different. downloading files from server to PC is very slow but at the same time i had other downloads from hotfiles, rapidshare etc and i got my normal speed. i still couldnt figure out why.. it could be bad routing from that range of ip. try reconnect.maybe TM is blocking the ftp protocol for my port.. |
