yea it would be better to know the place and people there first before we make any move.
Can you give any detail about tomorrow trip? like what time and where to meet up? And what are the purposes and goals of our trip?

emm,my worry is that, animal shelter might not able to keep many of the stray if we did managed to get some of the dogs out from the island. Most of the dogs that were sent to the shelter will end up euthanize if nobody adopt them.
SPCA said they are trying to neuter and spray the stray and pets in the island, while trying to educate the residents on proper way of taking care of animals. Maybe we can help them out on that?

yes i myself do not agree on sending those dogs that we rescue on pulau ketam island to SPCA itself. I'm trying to contact some other dog shelter for those dogs. One of the consideration is 'Malaysian dogs deserve better project'. Unlike normal animal shelter, they will try to promote the dogs they have to be adopted by public.
I'm having problem with my msn now,stupid...will try to get back msn asap.

i've called Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better Project and told her (don't know who's behind the phone, really) about our campaign. As we are still at planning stage and alot of stuff haven't confirm yet,she can't promise us to take in the dogs yet. But what she said is,first thing right after we get the dogs,we have to send them to vet clinics to check their condition, spray and neuter them before we can send them into any canine farms including Sabrina's FFF. But she said can help us to contact those farms after we have put the vets check. She also said there are few vet clinics in Klang.
So, not to worry bout where to send those dogs first, but anyone know any good vets~?
And I've think across few items that are needed for the rescue mission on p.ketam: 1.dog cages and dog food (of cuz) 2.torch light (as under the houses were dark, hard to spot dogs that hiding under houses) 3.boots- thx to panasonic88 4.water
Any more to add up maybe in the future.

Tomorrow I have class 12pm-3pm That's me and my frens XD~ If you wish to join our team, feel free to contact or talk to me. it's better to have more volunteers in our team,so we could collect more fund at different times.

The exact location is at the Main Block, lower foyer,in front registry.
We'll setting up the booth at 9am,what time the booth will close I'm not sure yet, probably will be in the afternoon 5 or 6pm or earlier. Depends on the crowd.
FYI,there will be other events happening on the days. The main event of both days are actually National Chinese Debate Championship that involves high schools from whole Malaysia. So i think it might be a good chance for us to get funds from public and let them know the situation of the dogs. Oh, and the main theme of the donation campaign is for the rescue mission in Pulau Ketam. Do bring more photos of Pulau Ketam dogs ya Joyce?
guys please confirm with me which day u'r coming or you're coming on both day asap ya? need to see how many volunteers are coming. chibi_tenko, noted, will confirm you're not in yet. If you'r coming just tel me lah~
As i don't hang around here most of the time,if there's anything you wanna know urgently just msn me kaven12@hotmail.com or sms me 016-4989692. I'll check in this thread once or twice a day only.
