QUOTE(verx @ May 14 2009, 04:58 PM) Agreed. If you don't have the capacity to help save any of the dogs there (which means not only extracting them but also what to do with them after extracting them) you're better off just sitting at home and donating some money to FFF. As for today Sherly managed to save 2 dogs from Pulau Tengah. She did pick up another 6 puppies that were given away by someone. At least they won't be contributing to the stray problem Although I am new here, I registered because I wanted to post appreciation to people like Sherly and Adrianck and their great many volunteers for actually saving these dogs from the hell hole. I myself, cannot do much except donate and transport donations to Furry Friends Farm. You are all unsung heroes and just by reading your posts and updates, I am getting teary because it is so heart-warming to know that the poor dogs are being rescued and on their way to a better life by these wonderful individuals and their team. Sherly and her team are sure one amazing rescue group, and so is Adrianck. Both of your teams followed the correct procedures to rescue the dogs and all your sweat and effort paid off. A big good job well done ! Adrianck, I hope you and your volunteers will have a great time volunteering at FFF !

QUOTE(nicoty_yne @ May 21 2009, 12:18 AM) A friend is volunteering to deliver dogfoods from Penang to FFF on 24th. If anyone from Penang would like to donate dogfood/syampoo/rice/dewormer/etc ,u can PM me to get the exact location to pass ur donation to the volunteer before 24th. The target is 200kg dogfood. But so far, she only managed to get 77kg dogfoods Hope she will get more donation before she off to Kl Hi Nico ... now is at 80 kg but haven't collected all yet. Maximum load for my car is 200kg. Otherwise, my car cannot 'jalan'. Btw, this coming weekend, 24th May, some volunteers from HomeApet (around 18-20 people) will also be going to FFF.

A big THANK YOU to clementcpteh, nicoty_yne and mickeyl for their generous donations of dog kibbles and dog shampoo to FFF. =) It was really a pleasure to have met these kind souls. Transported an approximated 180kg of donations worth of dog food and supplies to FFF on the 24th May visit and hoping to collect consistently as supplies run out quickly with so many doggies to feed.
If anyone who is interested in donating dog kibbles, dog supplies, etc, to FFF and is from Penang, do PM me. I will arrange to collect and transport donations from Penang to FFF every 2 weeks. Thank you and God bless.
