QUOTE(andromedia @ Jun 11 2009, 12:08 PM) Not mine... it's Pams'... she did that with the help of someone named Jon... If there are faults or bugs with the validating system, you might want to highlight to her... Yeah, will do. There are plenty of IT geeks here in the SAD team too. Can actually ask them to help her out as well.

The Australian volunteers made it to the news When Australians Sarah Wren and Shannon Muche read that dogs had been abandoned on Pulau Selat Kering, they immediately wanted to help. “We read what had happened when we were in Vietnam and decided that we would help care for the rescued dogs when we came to Malaysia en route to London,” said Wren, 28. - More on here -Photo by TV Smith

... I read in some of the updates - it seems Mercy's getting weaker and Serene A's feeling sick as well? Very disturbing news.

It's either the heat (+ haze) or some sort of virus getting to them... but mostly the heat. Hope that they'll all make a full recovery soon This post has been edited by Yukaeshi: Jun 13 2009, 10:13 PM

The haze's been really bad these few days. Even my 2 year old niece is having allergy problem now (they live in Kota Kemuning). The Pulau Ketam dogs are all very weak, so they should have a harder time dealing with the current situtation.
Madmoz, do check on the updates by next Friday. Hope to see you and your missus. Thanks for the help

O_o What's happening next Hello. First of all, thank you for your concern. I'm sure Sabrina would've replied you if not for the sheer number of emails that she received from well-wishers, supporters, etc etc since the plight of the Pulau Ketam dogs came into light. Is there anything in particular that you would like to know? maybe we can fill you in. Also, when you asked 'what's happening next?', do you mean the Pulau Ketam dogs rescue mission or what is our (S.a.D team) next plan of action?

We're glad to have you on board madmoz Will keep you updated on our plan for the weekend. It's most likely that the team will be going next Sunday, 21st June 2009. wadever, Sabrina doesn't always have access to the internet, so that could also be a reason why she hasn't replied. It's best to give her a call directly, since sometimes she is too occupied to reply to SMSes as well. If you need any information, we're more than happy to provide what we know to the best we can

Went to FFF with Louis today, did the usual chores, and went back around 4.30pm. Also delivered dog food to Danny, to replenish the food at the stations around Selat Kering. Sweetie not in good mood (she's sick), Serene was not at FFF (went to vets I think), had a rearrangement of shelter-order (moved the dogs rescued from Pulau Ketam plight to the new extension wing). Also learned how to cook the food for the dogs, with the good old brick-and-fire way. Cooking with the gas, the rice were not as well cooked, according to CK. Noodle at noon as usual. p/s: just trying out something I have not done in a long time - rectangled and colored photos. This post has been edited by A-D-Photographer: Jun 14 2009, 08:41 PM

Brushed up on my camping skills in below an hour. Great training.

Grace and Hope is still on medication too... but they should make it... they were diagnosed with distemper, a viral disease similar to the parvo but there's no cure for it... infected furry friends will be given medication to boost up their immune system so that they could fight off the virus. Let's pray for them both... You can read more about distemper here... This post has been edited by andromedia: Jun 15 2009, 01:15 PM
