 apple i mac g3, is there any music software for it?????

is there any music software(for song writing) that i can use on this old Apple iMac G3 266MHz \ 64MB Ram \ 6GB,someone told me even the 2004 garage band goin to slowed this baby down..so forget protools,i need a suggestion something that not goin to slow this old baby but yet still have the similiar fuction of protools(not exactly,but you know some thing like em),as i use it for normal computer usage,internet,file storage etc etc.....thanks

i strongly suggest you to get a new computer for audio stuffs. that kind of speed...tell me if you're joking.

haha ok. i think with that kind of CPU speed, you might be ok to do MIDI sequencing, and simple multitrack audio recording/playback. but i doubt you can do further processing like adding reverbs compressor EQ etc etc.

moreover, most softwares today require you to run on OSX, which i doubt your G3 can even run just the OSX itself. sweat.gif
