at least the only thing better about saag is that no company sue them for not paying their debts.

so why don't the SC take any action?
how about other stock broking firm and IB? it's quite scary in the way you say about O stockbroking firm (should be IB think), they are violating our privacy and our rights severely. This post has been edited by sjz: Jan 13 2010, 01:24 AM |

QUOTE(zamans98 @ Jan 15 2010, 08:53 AM) Still, it under my called price of 18c, whereby yours was what?? 25cts by end of DEC? for the bolded part, did you mean IRIS?? Forget SAAG, go to MyKad chip maker. Better deal. great counter, constantly get new project from m'sia gov or gov. linked company.. Added on January 15, 2010, 12:49 pm QUOTE(verbatim @ Jan 15 2010, 10:20 AM) Will there be more private placements after this?? or anything like that, which will trigger a selling wave like today?? anybody... 14/01/2010 05:57 PM PROPOSED PRIVATE PLACEMENT OF UP TO 10% SAAG CONSOLIDATED (M) BERHAD ("SAAG" OR THE "COMPANY") PROPOSED PRIVATE PLACEMENT OF UP TO 10% OF THE ISSUED AND PAID-UP SHARE CAPITAL OF SAAG ("PROPOSED PRIVATE PLACEMENT") We refer to the above-captioned and the earlier announcement made on 14 December 2009 and 28 December 2009, 5 January 2010 and 14 January 2010 in relation to the Proposed Private Placement. OSK Investment Bank Berhad on behalf of SAAG is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors of SAAG ("Board") has fixed an issue price of RM0.1592 per placement share for the second tranche of the placement shares, comprising 14,400,000 placement shares. It is not the intention of the Board to place the placement shares to Directors or substantial shareholders of SAAG and/or persons connected with them. This issue price represents a discount of approximately 9.95% to the five (5)-day volume weighted average market price of SAAG's shares up to and including 13 January 2010 of RM0.1768. This announcement is dated 14 January 2010. They already got 10% discount over the share price, so even they dispose at RM0.170, 0.165 or 0.160 they still smiling.. As a smart investor, it's your call whether to buy, sell or hold... But undeniably, the B-Q at 0.17 is insanely HUGE! 201,239 total amounting RM3,421,063. SC say we are free to voice our opinion here but not AFFECTING OTHERS DECISION on the counter. This post has been edited by sjz: Jan 15 2010, 12:55 PM |

0.155 the safest TP, coz observe the trend, the rebounce is ahead somewhere around 0.155/0.16 level.
and rebounce TP would be around 0.200/0.205, won' go higher than that, mind you, it's within 1-2 days, after that the price would surge down GRADUALLY like they did for now.. so ....Enjoy & 'play safe'... This post has been edited by sjz: Jan 21 2010, 01:44 AM |

The Company did obtain regulatory approvals and shareholders approval for rights, EB issues as well as new issue of shares (private placement).
They tell you that issuing more shares and dilute your interest is WITH your approval.. |

QUOTE(zamans98 @ Mar 16 2010, 09:34 AM) I thought it has been that way for almost 7 months now? Or are you just starting to monitor this crap counter? I like the MyKad chip maker too...Go for MyKad chip maker is better, offering Rights (for Conversion to Warrants) stable movement... that's what ppl used to say, never trust those expert, in this case 'expert', the analysis they suggested only about 50% accurate.. |

if i'm not mistaken, unlike NYSE of other market worldwide, short-selling is STRICTLY PROHIBITED in Malaysia right?
short-selling might leads to serious penalty, so i don't think there's a case of short-selling, if not SC should be taken action earlier.. From the official announcement, the situation now is -- they are selling ACTUAL SHARE (not short-selling) arisen from the conversion of exchangeable bond... I only believe in what i see officially from BM. |

it's like gambling, but based on charting, it seems to be worth the bet, because it's trading at 52 weeks low price...
around 10 cent is optimum price to enter, but this company is having a quite high gearing, also same equity/debt level, so must take precaution, but 1 thing certain is, it should not be the next PN17, because let's say you got RM10, then you lend RM9 from others, will you be sued by others for not being able to return the money??? there is money, yesss?? |

what i scare is since the other 3 rig can't be built, they will claim TOTAL IMPAIRMENT LOSS, then the non-current asset - property, plant & equipment will shrink by a lot...
like the case of MEMS...i wonder how come nobody want to buy those plant, even for RM100,000?? nobody wants, i want it then!! it worth millions when first bought!! |

u have a really weird plausible theory....
firstly, malaysia don't allow short-selling as you mentioned. if can short-sell, i would be the first to try it on some PN 17 counter, sure earn kaw-kaw |

QUOTE(MakanTidurSaham @ Jul 23 2010, 12:26 AM) I don't know if a petition by retail investors will work in order to take over the company and liquidate it. in fact bro, i really like your plan.. The Plan: Join our shares, take over SAAG, liquidate it (net asset 0.24 = 3x current share price). Then we will stand to profit 3 folds. If I have enough % of shares to take over the company myself, I would do it by myself. I will liquidate the company and tear it apart, sell all the assets. I also thought about getting foreign investors from the United States to do it, they are damn good at this kind of stuff. it might works...because when we look into top 30 largest shareholder, the 1st is doraley the culprit, which holds around 11% during the time the annual report comes out, then the 2nd is the current MD which holds less than 5%..... which means most shares ARE IN THE HAND OF RETAIL INVESTOR (Investors with shares not exceeding 5%). so if an EGM is held, this isn't impossible... but here comes the problem... SAAG have high debt & high receivables.. attached below is the details.. so the first thing is to ensure the receivables is recoverable.. ![]() |
