hi...i really need help here....
i'm using bb bold.....my gf give it to me for my birthday last month...the problem is....i went to maxis last week to register the blackberry line...but they told me my bb got a problem....then,i went to celcom...and they also told me the same....
my bb only have one browser and the browser came from bb....even when i try to register with maxis or celcom...they can't open the browser....the browser will show "your device does not currently have any browser configuration service book entries....please contact your service provider to enable the browser on your device"
staff in celcom and maxis told me....there should be another browser in the device...but....my bold doesn't have it....there's notthing changes in my bold after the registration....i still can't use the browser.....so i cancel the service and they told me my bold got a problem....

someone...please help me.....where i sould send my bold to be repaired...and how bout the budget???anybody got any ideas???please help me please......

if someone can fix it....i'm willing to pay.....please help me......just left ur num....i will call back...help me please....i really stress with this problem..... icon_question.gif

just turn off the radio signal/mobile network.
delete all the service book.
hard reboot (take out the battery)
turn on back the mobile network, wait for a while.
check for the service books.
check for the browser.

pay raymond.

hhmmnn.. i've encountered this problem myself.
did some thorough digging around.. my problem was, i didn't have a ordinary bb browser! (yeah, that was lame *lol*)

my default bb browser only supports wifi browsing.. to cut the long story short, i managed to re-installed the browser onto my service book (yeah, practically reinstalled my service book).. and it worked!

sorry coz lambat reply....i'm so bz this week
.........
i went to maxis and register for bb line....then....after the registration.....my line already have bb signal....however....maxis still can open my browser....they told me that...my bb should have another browser....they also can't install other application for my bb....they already format my bb twice.....but nothing change....so...they told me that my bb got a problem......
........
then...i went to celcom at lowyatt plaza....i've told them about my problem....they told me that they can solve it easily (so 'belagak' like shit)....then they put celcom simcard with registered bb line to my phone to test....but they also facing a same problem.....they just told me that this is a special case....and my phone need to be repaired....

now.....
- my phone only have one browser and it didn't in my menu....i need to click at the menu key...and click it again...then...choose switch application....only from there i can found my browser.....
- all my original bb ringtones can't be use......

rite now i don't know what to do.......i really need help here....please help me.....

it's sad.. kilo sad that you went to the wrong folks at maxis..
telco as a service provider don't provision service book for browser..

there's a way to re-install all your missing bb browser service book.. (and it has nothing to do with activation/re-activation.. or how many times you pull your battery!)

i think u got a IT policy install on your BB, btw where did you buy your BB, coz most BES BB has a IT Policy install so their IT admin can check and manage the BB OTA

If theres an IT policy enabled he can check it from the "MEPD" plus he cant install an application
