My old Saga got this function when you press the power window button once, automatically the window winds down, and up. But my Iswara has only one touch for going down. I'm going to sell my Saga and so I want to take that "window function" and put in in my Iswara.

I have no Idea what controls that. Is it the motor or got extra wiring?

Swap door trim of course won't work laaa

But I do like my Saga Interior colour - dark brown, after so many years still looks good. But the Iswara, grey, and fading some parts got white patches...and its aeroback, otherwise surely I will swap everything.

hmmm...not sure if you know this, there is a valid reason why nowadays why the function changed to only wind down for the one touch.

wind up no longer works with one touch because of safety reason to avoid accidental accidents

wind down no problem because no fingers/hands can be crushed while winding down.

wind up however a different case, thus the one touch feature no longer available as the window will stop when you stop pulling/pushing the up button

same thing goes for those new power windows button. you need to pull up to wind up the window. safer this way rather than pushing down accidentally on old type of power window button for winding up the windows.

I know about the buttons, read it somewhere.

But the window up thing, new cars got 'sensor' to detect anything blocking..if got it will wind back down.

One touch up is so useful, especially when driving away from a toll booth. Otherwise must press button, change gear, look left, look right, press button, put away coins, press button...

Anyway anyone knows how? I saw on my fuse box lid (dashboard) there is something called "Geganti Tingkap Kuasa". Does that have anything to do with the up/down thing?

actually there are not sensor...
when motor not moving/stop the current will rise and circuit breaker will detect and cut the current so the relay will off (its just electronic thingy which u can found it at book / web)

Geganti tingkap kuasa mean power window relay.... circuit breaker inside switch itself

There's an electronic module for this function hidden under the V-shaped cover in front of the gear stick. Mine stopped working, and the acc shop guy simply bypassed the wires to it, so now I don't have the auto-down function anymore. According to him, replacement module isn't easy to find and not cheap.

There is a switch relay in it.

not any sensor or wad so ever.

Prepare RM100+ for one touch at any wireman shop.

hmm...ic....

looks like some car still have the one touch up....
but still, I still stand by that one touch up is still having the high risk of injury unless proper circuit breaker is present....maybe I can try out on my family's avanza in a few days time......he he he......

anyway to TS,..are you planning to change yourself or ask someone to change for you? he may charge you labour/workmanship fees...in case you couldn't transfer your old one to your current car or feel that the cost to move the relay circuit breaker is too expensive when charged by your mech....maybe you can think of other alternative to help solve your main issue.....

as you said, mainly the one touch up useful when you drive away from toll booth, maybe instead you can use smart tag? no need to wind down window at all and no need put away coins.....he he he....just a suggestion for an alternative solution....RM100 for a smart tag that you can use on other cars you have too.......

The main reason actually is because I'm getting rid of the old car which has a great function, I thought I will DIY transfer it. I won't go to mechanic or wireman, it's not that important. Its just one of the few things that I plan to swap before giving it away.

I'll check the 'electronic module' like what Esky had said. If its too complicated for me, I'll just leave it.

So expensive! That will cost me almost one day's salary.

"Installation can be done just add some workmanship fees."

I get scared now when I hear see or hear "workmanship". Changed my valve seals today. The seals itself cost only RM20 but the workmanship RM180.

got to the12volt.com look up relays, understand what a relay is and find the approprite wiring diagram for one touch relay operation..im not in the mood for posting full writeups especially when most malaysians would rather pay money and get a so called mechanic to replace their light bulb. (Aiyoo, you can mess up your wiring, better ask pro to do for you..add meh, leh, lor, lai, mai to end sentence)

he he he.....how true.....

and sometimes, those mech/accessories shop charges exhorbitant amount for simple things......

like recently when I bought a rearview mirror monitor and the accessories guy wanted to charge me RM60 just to connect to my HU.....end up I said no and spent 1 hour myself to DIY.

I find internet and google comforting with so much information if you know how to search and have some patience to read through all the information it can offer......

it should not be too difficult to dismantle and install in your car once you have located the module in your old car......DIY would of course be the cheapest solution....

another way to tracing your steps when you are DIY something not familiar is to make use of your digital camera or your camera phone. especially how the original electrical connections are.......

hehe thats exactly what i do..also i arrange all the parts i remove in sequence and place them in a kids pencil case (the one with many little compartments) so i know which screw or bolt goes in first and last..if you dont keep them in sequence (for beginners) its easy to be left with a bunch of parts which you dont know goes where..

besides,im a better electrician than most of those half baked acc shop guys..
