back then in 2000/2001, we were the 1st group of students staying in Centrepoint hostel that have our own bunch of DIY networking cables from room to room in all 3 floors.

yeap, 100mps LAN cables. 190bux per box of 300m cables. we used up to almost 5 boxes if i am not mistaken. 1 main 24ports switch hub and few more 8ports switch hubs around the corner of each floors.

well, back then, it was fun coz mostly are malaysians in there. till the kbu admin want us to move out due to priority for foreigner students.

yeap, we made a big hoohaa against the admin when they force us to move. back then we are one united big family. delay for few months, then we r moving slowly bit by bit. Then our group of networking dudes, take off all the cables in 1 night and went off with it.

to be honest, i didnt do well in my 1st year degree, transfered my credit hours over when few of my frens are over there in KDU.
No regrets tho, as KDU has more feeling of a college life. The club and society activities are more active & happening, very dedicated and frenly lecturers, facilities and of coz chicks.

1st day set my foot in KBU, giv me the very dead feeling.

Exactly, thats the thing i dont like bout KBU, at least its very common to see engineering student mix with students from mass comm, law, business, accounting and etcin KDU.
