im using 17" CRT

all my taikor here using so big screen

I got 2 units CRT which is still working, 1 is LG 17" flatscreen LG brand but there are hole on top of it caused my kid step on it. Seems very ugly due the hole I bought another 1 a 17" under Multimax brand. Now those 2 resting under the bed giving the way to the LCD pulak.

Sometime I am thinking to assemble another 2 units of s478 rig pc as I currently have

2 units of working monitor
3 pcs s478 - 2.6ghz, 2.8ghz and 1.6ghz processor
2 pcs of working mobos supported HT , 800fsb
1 pc 1gb DDR1 ram
2 pcs 512mb DDR1 ram and few pcs 256mb ram
1 pc of AGP 8x ATI radeon X1300 256mb and reserved to ravewar
2 pcs of 80gb IDE HDD, 1 currently in use for my linux
1 unit 400w PSU
cables, mouse, keyboards are all sufficient to complete the rig except no casing available at the moment.

btw, that 6800 is 128MB DDR 128bit

It still depends on personal preference.

For me, I still prefer nvidia for AGP cards but for PCI cards, my preference is shifting towards ATi since it brings more value.

However, nvidia AGP cards is getting rare now so if you want something high end, you'll have to look at the red side and abandon the green.

no offence to nvidia, but I'v lost trust in them, ever since the "cheating" case...and they have this "rebranding" of their cards...

seems like they wanna confuse the public into thinking they were launching new models, but infact it was just a rebranding exercise...

ati were no better...but you get what you pay for...in case of ati...

whoooa, so many ppl getting drool already. Lemme brief lil bit cerita how did I got those processors. Usually every year those gov agencies that got a budget to buy new pcs for their staffs they'll sell the old one as used item or scrap. They just don't care what is the current either carry newer or old specs, because if they don't buy the allocation cannot be bring forward to the next audit year. So who don't want new pcs, right? Luckily got friend that won tender to buy those used pcs in bulk, usually s478 available followed by p4 lga775 prescott and some earlier batches of d and dual core. But I can't ask more lah, malu.

WAh,so many people here is waiting for the special deal from powerwoot. Bring us some special proc like EE version or  3.4GHz and above.
