i was wondering anyone could teach me how to tune a guitar into a non - standard tuning??
let's say in my this particular case, DAGDGC?

i've read that that we need to tune down the key from the standard tuning instead of tune up,
but let's say for the 3rd string standard tuning is in D key, now we need to tune to G key, wouldn't
it be like we need to tune the string to a few key(step) below? It's like a lot of "steps" between D and G key.

Can some1 guide me on this?? usually i tune to standard tuning with a tuner, was trying to learn a new song in
the DAGDGC tuning, i do have a capo, but even with capo, i cant get this tuning rite?
